The airbag system is stand alone and when the light is lit, the system has registered a fault and is disengaged. The only way to fix it is to get rid of the fault. You will need a scan tool that can access the air bag control module and find out where the issue is.

Check to see if the high speed fan (I think it's the one on the right) comes on when you turn on the air conditioning. If it doesn't, the condenser (in front of the radiator) will overheat and the high pressure switch in the A/C system will turn off the compressor. If this is the case, the fans should be replaced (they come as a set). You shouldn't have to replace the radiator or the condenser if they are not leaking, but have your A/C system checked and serviced if you found that the cooling fans were not working properly.

there is nothing wrong with splicing new wires as long as it is done well and weather tight. I think if you call a dealer for a price on the harness you will find that repairing the wiring will probable save you several hundred dollars. really not worth replacing something that can be repaired. Check the actuator motor on the heater box it sounds as if the door is not moving to allow the heat to come in.

There could be more than 1 thing wrong, I assume the fan works because the A/C blows cold, as for the heater is it blowing luke warm or nothing at all. If the thermostat was removed and left out you would have luke warm air because the water that circulates through the heater is not getting hot if this is the case replace the thermostat with the correct one, another issue would be the heating element under your dash has no power to it or the element has deterioated.

Do you have a digital instrument cluster? If everything else lites up, I don't think it is a fuse. Just my opinion.

There is one under the hood called the PDC behind the air filter box and the other is under the dash on the driver side. the brake fuse is probably in the one located inside the car, if not check the other one. if you have the owners manual it should show all this information.

disconnect .the NEGATIVE battery terminal, car doors closed. have a coffee, reconnect cable at least 5 complete minutes later. and it should be reset, and working again. silly computer quirk

Hi Barbra: 1) I'd be suspicious of a bad head gasket with a possible leak between a cylinder and the water jacket. If fumes smell like coolant that would be a confirming hint. Check the oil (dipstick) and see if it has a milky colour or if there is any water visible. If the head gasket problem is only as in 1) above, it should be just oil. - Temporary fix attempt????? - add aluminum sealant to coolant. - Permanaent fix (expensive) - Off to the repair shop for a new head gasket. try having the fluid and filter change if that don't work have the transmission shift solenoids checked at a local garage

I would check the window adjustment to see that it is positioned correctly in the felt runners next check those runners for tears in the felt that are stopping the movement check the winding operation as the cable may be jammed at the point and need replacing

run the fault codes as shaking engines is from misfiring check fuel pressure could be plug leads or injectors

I'd start looking around my engine mounts and / or CV joints.
