Brakes do not work in cold weather. brakes pedal will go right to the floor with out slowing down. i have to pump the brakes several times to slow down. i have had car in dealership for the past 5

Man, you've spent some money without isolating the problem. Throwing parts at a problem is never a way forward. The brakes not working when its cold? When you pump the brakes does the pedal become hard/normal in cold weather or at any time? What happens if you plug the booster hose and start up, is the pedal hard instantly? You say there is engine oil in the booster? how much? What mileage has it done and is the engine in good condition ie serviced? I know this sounds silly but you haven't really got to what the dealer is supposed to have done for your money. I find it difficult to believe there is no experienced tech who couldn't work this out. He should do things like clamp off the flexi lines to each wheel in turn and then in pairs then all together etc with proper brake hose clamps to see if that makes a difference. He should be leaving it out in the cold and seeing for himself what happens. Did the shop go through this sort of process? Careful checks and process of elimination is what gets to the bottom of these faults.

2005 pt cruiser, stuck in 5th gear

Check the gear linkage cable (very common problem) look down inside engine bay towards top of bell case (thats where the linkage meets with selector arm. Get someone to wiggle the gear stick while you observe selector arm. (if you move the air box out of the way you can reach down and de-select the gear with your hand- should get you neutral at least)... I'll keep an eye out for any reply...

You can pull up the code from your cars computer by turning ignition switch, ON, OFF, ON ,OFF, ON and watch for the code or codes on your dash. Ask your local mechanic what the code means. I believe you will find that you have a bad Crankshaft sensor. GOOD LUCK FRIEND.

What could be some problems and solutions for my 2005 Chrysler P T Cruiser ? When after starting engine and turning on heater motor engine will start running rough and sometimes almost stalls. It make

You should know that the air conditioner compressor comes on when some of the heater functions work. That happens to remove the moisture from the air in the cabin so that you don't get foggy windows. The first thing that you need to check is air conditioner compressor. See if it is coming on. Then it could be the compressor, You can unhook the electrical connection to the clutch on the compressor to see if that is the problem. If not then it could be the body control module.

Do you put water are engine coolant in radiator

you can put water in the radiator and it will run fine however if your in an area that gets cold enough that requires anti-freeze use the correct water anti-freeze mixture so the coolant does not freeze and crack the engine block or heads.

05 pt cruiser won't start cranks and pops but

have the timing check for having jumped time. you can also check for fuel pressure if its too low can cause this symptom. also check for spark at the plug it could be an ignition problem, crank or cam sensors. unless you have or are good at technical mechanical work this is a job best left for a shop to do.
