Luis: That makes no sense. But here is what others are saying: " How possible is it for a bad alternator to be tested good? I already had people telling me to replace it. I got both the battery and alt tested. Both passed. Reinstalled on the car and it ran good surprisingly after the battery was charged @ the autostore > till after about 10 minutes, then the battery meter dropped back down. Soon as i turned on the lights/ac the battery meter dripped down real low. SOon as i turned them off the meter jumped back up. Soon as i revved the engine the headlight would brighten then dim back down after the rev was over. I can jump the car, but it will turn off by itself if you leave it idling to long then it needs another jump. Driving it doesn't charge the battery up.. its actually drops the battery meter down more and more and more till its dead. -Car doesn't drain the battery while its off.. so its nothing left on. >> Now people are telling me there alternator was tested good, but the problems went away after buying a new alt. " Some people say there could be a loose belt not turning the alternator fast enough to supply power to lights/ac and charge battery. Or bad wires". or possibly a bad voltage regulator.

Is there something inside the Player preventing it from not "Ejecting"?If there was a Mechanical Failure inside the CD Player then you are going to have to remove the Player, and mechanically disassemble the Player to (1) Remove the CD, (2) Repair the Player for future use...

THE SHIFTER INTERLOCK RECEIVES ITS SIGNAL FROM THE BRAKELITE SWITCH.. NO BRAKE LIGHTS NO SHIFTY. CHECK THE STOPLITE SWITCH ON THE BRAKE PEDAL ARM

There are no bolts ! it takes a special tool , there are spring loaded Fasteners . Pull the handle of the air bag tool away from the instrument panel (I/P) releasing one of the spring loaded fasteners. Steering Wheel Inflatable Restraint Module Replacement Tools Required J 44298 Driver Air Bag Removal Tool Removal Procedure Caution: Refer to SIR Inflator Module Handling and Storage Caution in the Preface section. Caution: Refer to SIR Caution in the Preface section. Caution: A deployed dual stage inflator module will look the same whether one or both stages were used. Always assume a deployed dual stage inflator module has an active stage 2. Improper handling or servicing can activate the inflator module and cause personal injury.

1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .
2. On the back side of the steering wheel are 3 openings for removing the steering wheel module.
3. Adjust and install J 44298 into 1 of the holes.
Important: Seat the air bag removal tool all the way in to perform properly.
4. Pull the handle of the air bag tool away from the instrument panel (I/P) releasing one of the spring loaded fasteners.
5. Repeat this step for the other 2 fasteners.
6. Pull the inflatable restraint module gently away from the steering wheel.
7. 
Important: Note the wire routing positions on the steering wheel module connectors, the redundant control routing positions, and the horn wire routing positions for the correct assembly.
8. Remove the connector position assurance (CPA) (4) and the electrical connector from the steering wheel module.
9. Remove the horn contact lead (2) from the steering column cam tower.

The 3.6 liter is plagued with oil consumption problems. It has to be one of the worse engines ever made by GM.

Means that you have 24 percent of life left on your transmission fluid.say it's good for 30,000 miles,you would have almost 7500 left till it needs changing.

pcv valve could be bad , that or it has bad rings .

P2138 Throttle/Pedal Pos Sensor Voltage Correlation Potential Causes of P2138 DTC It's been my experience that the wiring connector or "pig tail" on the throttle body gives problems in the form of a poor connection.The female terminals on the pigtail corrode or pull out of the connector. Possible bare wire on pigtail shorting to ground. The top cover on the throttle body distorted preventing the gears from turning properly. The electronic throttle body is faulty. The accelerator pedal sensor or its wiring failed. The engine management computer has failed. The TPS sensors were not correlating for a few seconds and the computer needs to be cycled through its relearn phase to restore active response to the throttle body, or the computer needs reprogramming at the dealer.

Engine is probably stumbling because it is misfiring - it probably needs a tuneup (plugs, etc.).

Who did the work? With that much work done it should have come with some kind of warranty. I would take your car back to the person that did the work and ask them to take a look at it. Could be a fuel problem (fuel filter, pump, feed or return lines) or it could be a calibration that needs to be adjusted in your on-board computer. I would start with running a full diagnostic from a reputable company and see if it shows anything.

Is the battery as old as the car? If so, it's certainly the battery. OEM batteries on luxury cars last a surprisingly long time, but six years is usually the limit. Replacement batteries (in my experience) only last four years at most. So even if this isn't the original battery, it's time for a change. By the way, when a battery needs a charge or a replacement, it will be able to run accessories (such as a radio or cabin lights), but will not have enough power to crank the starter.

If you can play a DVD, the nav disc is dirty or worn. Try gently cleaning it with a flat screen tv cleaning solution and try again. If a DVD won't play, the read head in the player is either dirty or shot - you should have an A/V shop try to clean it, as replacing the unit is $$$$$.

From: P0700 is an informational code only. It doesn't point to a direct fault in the engine, only a general fault in the transmission. More diagnosis is necessary to identify what the transmission fault is. This requires a scan tool that will communicate with the transmission module. More often then not, the cause of this code is that there is a transmission problem of some kind. The TCM detected the problem and set a code. P0700 means that a fault code is stored in the TCM. However this doesn't rule out the possibility of a failed PCM or TCM (unlikely). For a P0700 the only real solution is to acquire a scan tool that will communicate with the transmission control module. Extracting this code from the TCM will be the first step in repairing the fault in the transmission.
