DTC P0496 - EVAPORATIVE EMISSION (EVAP) SYSTEM FLOW DURING NON-PURGE SYSTEM DESCRIPTION This DTC tests for undesired intake manifold vacuum flow to the evaporative emission (EVAP) system. The control module monitors the fuel tank pressure (FTP) sensor to determine if a vacuum is being drawn on the EVAP system. If vacuum in the EVAP system is more than a predetermined value within a predetermined time, this DTC sets.THIS CODE ID FOR A 3.6L engine

I have 06 cts and my windshield wipers stay up.
sounds like you have a problem with the parking pawl/position on the wiper motor.some of these can be repaired by a part from the dealer as its a dealer only part and sometimes the wiper motor needs replacing.if its a motor problem you can pick up one at the wreckers instead of buying a new one.
How do i replace fuel pump on a 2006 CTS Cadlly
You must remove the fuel tank from the vehicle to get to the fuel tank module. Your vehicle is equipped with two fuel tank modules that are connected by a tube inside the fuel tank. The primary module is the one on the left side and it is the one that contains the fuel pump.Have you scanned your computer system to verify that there is not a problem with the security system or the fuel pump circuits? Did you actually check for fuel pressure at the fuel rail? I'm only asking because dropping a fuel tank and replacing a fuel tank module is not easy or cheap....A BIG investment if you are not absolutely certain that this will fix your problem.

What does the service code B2AAA mean?
You must have a code reader that is CAN enabled. CTSs as early as '04 require a CAN enabled reader. the 06 cts uses a CAN OBD-II CODE READER/EOBD SCANNER. When buying the scan or code reader for your vehicle, make sure it supports the Controller Area Network (CAN) protocol. CALL THE DEALER OR AUTO-ZONE MAY BE ABLE TO TELL YOU THE PROPER NAMED SCANNER TO USE. GOOD-DAY !

Manual 05 CTS stuck in
If they are a reputable company they will make it right, even if they have to get help. If they did something that caused the problem, they should eat the cost, but if it is a new problem, they will probably want to pass the cost on to you.
If the car is stuck in first, and won't release it is either the pressure plate or throw out bearing. Or something internal to the transmission.
