Remove the door panel. Screws can be at the door handle, in the arm rest and at the bottom. First lift up on the panel and pull off. If it doesn't lift up, then pry the panel off. Plugs hold it on. Remove the noise barrier, if it's there. Have the window up. Remove the bolt for the window guide at the bottom. Pull it down a bit, not out. There are three plastic clips to unlatch that holds the rods for the door handles At the door jam there are three torx screws to remove. Pull the latch out some and remove the plugs.

run the fault codes and check for TCM problem. If it shifts into neutral like you describe then the engine would increase in rpms as the load came off. More than likely shifting into a too high gear which indicates a selector program problem.

FUSE BLOCK OR FUSE? AND IF NOT THAT THE SWITCH OR THE SHIFT MOTOR.. ITS ON THE TRANSFER CASE LOOKS LIKE A WIPER MOTOR.. CHECK WIRING ALSO.. AND PLUGS ON SHIFT MOTOR.

If power at fuse, must have power coming out of fuse. Check both sides of the fuse. If no power to switch that's all it could be if the plug is all the way on the switch and switch is good.

It's inside the fuel tank. You have to drop the tank to access it.

Hi Sherwood, Im glad to help! Sherwood, A/C Compressor;s are easy to change, it's the Freon part that makes it impossible for people that doesn't have the proper equipment to evacuate and recharge the system that stops them from doing the job. Give me a call Al 314-374-5218. You can't release the Freon into the atmosphere. Once the Freon is removed from the system take the belt off, unplug the electrical connector, remove the Low and High side lines from the compressor then remove the 4 bolts that hold it to the engine, reverse the procedure for the new compressor and evacuate and recharge the system and your done. If they light up and you can :"manually" make them turn off and on by moving the switch stem, then a $10 blinker relay is all that is needed. Ask at any Auto Parts Store, they will sell you the right relay and instruct you where to install it.. (That didn't sound right) Usually a fuse-block under the dash. Simple fix.

Check to make sure your positive terminals on your battery have a good connection loosen them up and clean real well then put them back on tight. Next I would check the starter.

Check your fuses then check the bulbs themselves.

Fans do have clutches that do come on and off as the engine heats. They were installed to save fuel. If it is going off and on too often check or replace the fan clutch.

Have you checked the air & fuel filters? If these were clean try some injector cleaner. If you still have the problem, check the plug wires for chaffing & make sure they are routed clear of any moving parts. If these are fine also, check the distributor cap for cracks as this could lead to misfire and hesitation. If none of this has helped, it may be time to call Mr. GoodWrench!
