1996 Chevrolet S-10 4x4 truck. The ABS system is not working?

Question edited for clarity. Question moved to model category. Help here https://www.google.com/search?q=1996+Chevrolet+S-10+4x4+ABS+system+is+not+working But you may need an auto electrician to record what happens after a mile. My guess is that the brakes are binding and get grippy when they start heating up. Check that the caliper slides freely, but as the ABS Light is on, you need to know why? https://www.google.com/search?q=mobile+auto+electrician+near+me ..

1996 Chevy 1500 truck 2 wheel drive. I only have one headlight working. The front left works, but only in high beam please help.

Question edited for clarity. Question moved to model category. Check the bulb, you can swap left to right. If the right side works on both main beam and low beam, then the switch is fine. If left main beam works, then the earthing wires to it are fine. That only leaves the bulb its socket or the positive wire.

Little Black Box, Fuel Pump, Fuel Lines

it sounds like you have a line hooked up to the wrong spot, and that little black box sounds like the charcoal canister, which is used to filter out fuel vapors. it sounds like either the supply or return line has been hooked into the vapor line. retrace your steps, largest diameter line is supply, medium is return, smallest line is vapor line. good luck!

Where is the fuel pump relay located on a 1996 Chevy S 10 pickup 4.3L It's not in the fuse box under the hood because there isn't one can somebody help

The majority of fuel-pump relay units are found beneath the dashboard, near the steering wheel. In certain circumstances, the unit is positioned near the engine's firewall or in the location where the steering column is attached. The fuel pump relay's end is usually at the center of the floorboard, under the carpet in the front area of the passenger or driver's side footwell. The fuel pump relays can be found in a variety of locations depending on the vehicle. sources from : https://www.apogeeweb.net/electron/how-to-replace-the-fuel-pump-relay.html#%E2%85%B3-the-location-of-fuel-pump-relay

Heater fan not working in a 1996 Chevy S-10

I looked at wiring diagrams at bbbindustries: the orange wire to the 20 amp htr fuse is direct from the ignition switch. You might check: that orange wire splices to the 10 amp brake fuse (fuse #12). check if that also has any voltage problems. There are two black fusible links that supply power to the ignition switch. the fusible links come from the battery junction block.

Not getting proper voltage to transmission

first have the fault codes read--that saves a lot of cash and heart ache next buy a workshop manual as that will show you where all the bits are that are from the fault codes the codes found will indicate were the problem is could be in the wires , servo/ solenoids or TCM if there is nothing mechanical wrong with the transmission ( you haven't mention any problems ) then changing the transmission is a waste of time knowing that it is a GM product and GM does not agree to transmission oil changes ( sealed transmissions) it is probably just dirty oil so a service could be the answer to your problems

Loss of power, studdering at high rpms when at temp.

Sound's like it break down due to no oil or water circulate the engine. Or wrong spark plug gap. So it increase too much heat. -Try this: 1. Flush the engine. Flush the coolant. 2. Check spark plug gap (Adjust to correct gap) 3. Check oil pressure. If it's low then new oil pump is need. Good Luck Mai
