Does this model use a 4 headlight bright system? I
I think that many 1990s and even some 1980s GM vehicles with seemingly 4 headlight systems actually use only 2 at a time.
My 1990 Oldsmobile Cutlass Calais, for instance, had 2 high beams that went on independently of the 2 low beam lights when switched with the turn signal lever.
In the 1970s the GM vehicles had 4 headlight systems where all 4 headlights would go on, but they used sealed beams rather than the capsule lights that are used nowadays.
For instance, our 1976 Cadillac Seville has a 4 headlight system that lights up 4 headlights on the high beam mode.
Good luck on seeing at night with the current set up.

Im replacing my ac compressor
if you root around at a parts store or on ebay you can find an idler wheel and bracket which takes the place of the A/C spot in the belt. also you can toss the whole thing and get a belt made for the engine w/o A/C. you should plug the open lines to prevent contamination in case you ever want to go back.

My Gmc 1992 it will
Mine did the same thing for years, dragging response and what sounded like octane knock. Turns out the front brakes were dragging so it was like trying to drive with the brakes on all the time. After replacing both front calipers and bleeding system out with new fluid, it turned out that the brake hoses were bad. An easy solution to a problem that dogged me for years, feels like a new motor under the hood now.
Have you noticed any pulling when braking? Try pulling up to a stop on a slight incline and see if it rolls or stays in place. It should roll easily, if not, you've got brakes dragging.

My 1992 GMC Sierra started
Actually the problem is the connector on the back of the instrument cluster. Early 90's GM were prone to bad connections. You will need to remove the cluster. On the back side is a large, rectangular connector with many brass connectors. There is yoour problem. CAREFULLY examine them. If they are corroded, CAREFULLY clean them with a pencil eraser. Remove all eraser bits whne you are done. Try not to bend them (unless they are already bent) and make sure all are even. When you replace the cluster, make sure it fits tight/snaps into the dash. Good Luck.
There is also a chance that the cluster circuit board has a bad connector or bad solder points. This is very difficult to repair yourself but I see on EBAY that there are places that do this type of work for about $100... Try cleaning it first.

Brack light comes on and
In addition to indicating when your parking brake is applied, the brake light is also a fault warning. There is probably someting wrong with your brakes, or at least your car thinks something is wrong. You should inspect the brake system, especially looking for any fluid leaking either at the wheels or in front of the driver seat under the car. Also check the brake fluid reservoir. Let us know what you find out.
