1992 gmc wont start. new starter, new battery. just clicks
I had an 84 silverado & a 91 sonoma with the same problems. It was a ground wire. Make sure all body, & frame wires are Attatched, tight & clean of rust & corrosion, no frawed wires. Also make sure battery terminals are clean & tight. Good luck.

FULE TO THROTTLE BODY BUT NO INJ. SPRAY WHY?
see if there is power going to the injectors then see if you have spark if no spark and no injector operation check the pick up coil and ignition module in the distributor there is a fuse for the injectors i had a 87 with throttle body injection and if i washed the engine the fuse would blow they often get pinched under the air filter and blow the fuse

HelloThe
Engine and Automatic Transmission (not applicable to manual
transmissions) in this vehicles drive train are fully
electronically controlled by a computer called the PCM and TCM (Power
Train Control Module, Transmission Control Module). When a problem
like this or other drive-ability related problems occurs the computer
stores a record of the problem (there are of course some exceptions
to this, like the fuel pump, engine coolant temperature sensor and
MAF sensor for instance) in the form of a fault code in its memory,
to read these fault codes you must have the systems memory scanned
with a special tool. Once the fault code(s) are read you then must
perform the appropriate diagnostic testing to find and resolve the
problem(s) DO NOT REPLACE ANY PARTS UNTIL A TRAINED
TECHNICAIN HAS DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM TO AVOID SPENDING YOUR HARD
EARNED MONEY ON PARTS THAT MAY NOT CORRECT THE PROBLEM. Also always
check fuel pressure for correct spec for your make and engine type.

My 1192 gmc sierra idles correctly with the map sensor unplugged
did you clean the port before you replaced the iac valve, and measure the pntle before putting it back in, whenyou buy a new iac valve you can't assume the pintle(needle) is correctly placed. the pintle shldnt exceed 1 1/8 inch past the body seat, it can be pshed in by hand, then after it's pu t back in cycle ignition on for 10 second (do not start) then turn ign off for atleast 10 seconds, this allows the iac valve to reset. then start engine.

Where can i find a vacuum hose diagram
There is one under the hood on the emission system sticker, if that is gone you may find one at the public library in a Chilton emission repair manual

My 1992 GMC Truck C1500 1/2ton P/U 2WD 5.7L TBI
Try changing the MAF. Mass air flow sensor on your air intake . I would suggest an auto wrecker, in case that isn't the problem, but that is exactly how they behave. I would imagine you have already changed the fuel filter?
