Check the battery to see if the sides are bulging in the middle. Do a spin test. Take the battery and put it on a flat surface, then spin it like a top. If it spins at all, the sides are not flat and the contacts are moving away from the contacts in the phone.

there are phone repair shops all over the place that can replace the glass quickly
the glass is fairly expensive but there are different qualities that increase the life of the glass on dropping
ask around , get quotes and consider having a person with experience do the job as it takes very little to break the phone full stop
there is a problem with the signal receptor chip... show your phone to some mobile expert on repair shop...... chip can be replaced...then it will work fine
If you have reset to factory settings ,then your contact list has been wiped out and cannot be recovered.Check your sim card for any stored contacts and copy them to recover some of your important contacts.
Start by opening Main Menu next on open Settings folder.
Tap on Privacy and select Factory Data Reset.
Tap on Reset Phone, enter your password (if required) and confirm by selecting Erase Everything.
Let the phone restart and you're done.
With Phone off:
1. Start with the phone off, to do it press Power button.
2. Press and hold both the left and right Action buttons under the display.
3. Press the Power button while the others 2 keys are still held.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions as the phone immediately begins the Factory reset process.
I hope this helps :)

digitizer is busted. You can try to pull it apart using a guitar pick and check the ribbon cable, but it's probably a goner. Sorry for your loss, touchscreens hate falls.
