Where the noise is coming from? What kind of noise do you hear? Did you get any error message on your computer screen?

Cursor frequently jumping all over the screen when

I have had the same problem...The touchpad mouse is incredebly sensitive. What is likely happening, is your wrists are coming into contact with the pad and the sensor interprets it as a click and moving your cursor. My solution was to install a usb mouse (mine was wireless) and disable the touchpad.

I dropped my laptop, Vaio

If the unit was dropped, it could be that a wire /cable came loose, but it most likely is the LCD screen. Was the unit dropped on one edge of the unit or did it land flat?

on edge: probably the LCD screen
flat: loose cable or inverter

Best guess....without seeing unit.

After downloading Windows 7 my

u will need drivers for the cam....but for that you will have to register your Win7 copy and make full updates to your Win7....if your copy is legal go to MS website and register your copy and update....
all drivers for your system will be installed only based on your legal copy..... else you will have to go back to old OS....
Win7...has limitations of driver for hardwares as many mfgs of HW have not created drivers for the old HWs....as the Win7 OS source code to create drivers have not been provided by MS to them.....
