SONY is like that you may have to get the update driver form SONY for that unit

It might be the plug on the headphone that's bad - try it on another laptop. If it's the jack that's bad, then it will need to be taken apart and that's not easy to fix - recommend having a repair shop fix it.

On Sony VAIO laptops, I have encountered a number of them with 'inverter' back light problems. If the computer is an older one, then I would consider replacing it. If it's newer, it may be covered under warranty.

The AV Mode/Capture TouchSensor Buttons above the Keyboard will not work if the Touchpad Driver in the Computer is not installed correctly. Please download and install the Touchpad Driver from the below link to fix the issue.

Hi Irene - There are many ways to send photos and so I am assuming you are sending them by email. If this is not correct, please provide more info. Within your email program send a new message. In the new message, click on Attach File or Insert Picture. Which ever you choose, it will open a box that will allow you to locate your photo files on your laptop.
