Back in 2012 this was a posted answer Right Bank A, Left Bank B A1 B1 A4 B4 B2 A3 B3 A2 The numbering is not "conventional" but you should be able to prove the sequence by tracing the wires from the distributor cap. Hi, The Silver Spur engine you have fitted should be of a V-8 configuration, Four cylinders on one side and four on the other. Rolls Royce calls these banks of cylinders; A bank and B bank respectively. So which one is which? well A bank is one inch further forward than B bank due to the way the connecting rods join the crankshaft. Each Bank of cylinders are numbered 1 to 4, so A bank is A1, A2, A3 and A4 and B Bank is B1, B2, B3 and B4. Cylinder A1 (the one at the front of the engine), is the first to fire, so time the engine to the firing point of this cylinder to time your ignition. After that the Cylinders will fire in this order:- A1, B1, A4, B4, B2, A3, B3, A2. Hope this helps, Rgs. Bob

on some old english cars the central horn button had to be pushed down and at the same time twisted to the left ( anticlockwise the method of fixing was by a series of interlocking pegs that had to have the button depressed and turned so that the pegs no longer were captive and allowed the spring under the button to push the button out of the steering wheel hub IF you do not disconnect the horn wires first you may drive the neighbours mad as pressing the button will sound the horn

Mine is a little newer, but the dipstick tube is the usual place to refill, use a funnel, pour in only a few ounces at a time, then check the level with the engine running. Do not over fill it. Hope this helps.
