the best way to tell is by taking the tire off and look at the brake pads. if they are getting thin you should replace them.

Sounds like an electrical short. Check all hot and moving surfaces to see if they are coming in contact with wires.

Hello okt..... No problem. Just go to an AAMCO repair shop or most auto parts stores where they now scan the car's computer for free trouble codes and let you know what the codes mean. BE SURE to ask them to reset the computer too, as this will turn off the light. That way if the light comes on again you can scan again to see if it is a valid trouble code or just a jumpy sensor. The battery should be in trunk. Depending on the model, it should be under the spare tire. Just to be informative, look under the dash on the left of the steering column (U.S. models) and you should find a chrome (usually) lever which blends into the lines of the dash to be pleasing to the eye. Rolls Royce, especially the older classic models, are known for having relays and solenoids mounted in strange places in the engine bay. You could find the starter motor and tracing the small wires back until you find the relay. I would also suggest you try some of the Rolls Royce owners forums as they will have a more specific knowledge of the wiring layout.
