There's a specific colored(reverse light)cable that one of the wires on your camera needs to be hooked up to in order for that feature to be enabled..

As long as the pins are in the same location and correct order then it shouldn't be an issue and if the wattage is the same u should be fine

Turn on the radio to see if it is now ok. I am almost 100% sure you have a short somewhere between your battery and radio. Make sure you have the pos. and neg.wires in the right place.
