Capacitor not working properly
the power side has to be in line with the battery power side! The ground side to ground! The power that ran from battery (fused) to the amp power is used and cap is tapped in line, on that power lead! that way your amp gets power with cap charging and stable voltage to amp! taking stress off your charging system and better sound! good luck! Amp is working and is putting out, but no sound from subs
Ay man I had the sam problem. What's happening is your amp is taking in too much power and too much heat. In my car I have a aduibahn amp that matches the box like yours. You should try turning off "bass boost" and/or "sub sonic" or "game" on your amp if it has those options. This will cause less heat and power and prevent your amp form haveing a terminal shutdown which is what Im confident is happenening. Also does your ride have AC? If not you should try letting your back seats down just to test it. Cause if your car is hot, then imagine how hot the trunk would be. If you need more help I got you at 317 374 7483 or

Hey my amp power light is on but my subs are not
green light? check the connection between the amp and box, then check your low level imput wires coming off of the back of your stereo, they could be faulty.the wires inside of the box might have some how also come loose. or your speaks are shot...
Power in amp but no sound to speakers
you need to make sure youre getting a signal from the source, RCA's I suppose. Check for loose connections or broken wires. make sure to have 12v+ on power and remote inputs at amp...proper ground too. Lastly, check your ohm loads at speakers, maybe one is about dead. make sure crossover settings are correct.
good luck!
I have this same problem
Check the power with a volt meter. The battery power, then the remote power. Also make sure it's grounded properly. bad grounds cause mayhem.
Jbl 1100w amp no sound
a couple of things , there are sometimes fuses at the uput stage internaly or it sounds like you have bown the output stage or output i dont ko if it would be orth repairing as this is the ost xpensive part inside
Amplifier Powers on But Does Nothing!
Try finding a better ground some amps are more finicky about ground than others. Try running a wire from the ground on your battery to the ground on the amp if this works then you will know you need to find a better place to pick up a ground.
Amp power
hi there, what size output is the amp? it should have a fuse provided. the other reason might be the amp isnt correctly earthed. check all the settings against any instructions you have. if this doesnt work dont hesitate to email me on
