Pyle PLA2200 Car Audio Amplifier Questions & Answers
Blowing fuses
because Pyle... Fuses only blow when the current draw is too high. more than likely you are trying to get too much power from this inferior amp. Thus causing it to distort and damage parts.
Hooked the damn thing up
probably something corssed in your speaker wiring. be sure that you did not exceed the ohmage capabilities of the amp, and that no speaker wires are crossed, or shorting out on the frame. if you have too many speakers hooked up, that can reduce the ohmage, and your not supposed to go below 2 ohms -per channel, or 4 ohms bridged mono.
We have our power supplies. THe problem is hooking
first u need a set of RCA cables,u can pick them up at any car audio shop, plug them into the audio outputs on the back of the radio, run the other to the audio inputs on your amp, from there jus plug the speaker wire into the speaker output on amp then to your speakers.
Live RCA cables????!!!!???
Ckech the ground, the only thing i can think is that the amp is trying to use them as a ground... but you probably have an extremely fried amp and guts are melted and making your RCAs make contact with the power wire, so i'd be real careful, and probably trash the amp. sorry about your luck dude...
Im looking for the reset button on my pyle chopper
Dude, there is no breaker button, there are two 15amp fuses on the speaker connect end of the unit. Here is the link to Pyle: http://www.pyleaudio.com/manuals/PLA2200-2210-2220-4200.pdf
If it's not a blown fuse then you will need service.
Car system
if you have dual voice coils connect on each seporate sub negative left channel to possative right channel of the subwoofer same to other sub then conect the left possative and the right neggative to your box power terminal same to other sub then conect the two sub outs on your box left speaker positive to your positive left channel bridge then conect left speaker negative to the right speaker possative then connect your right speaker negative to your right channel negative brigdeg to your amp is single coil hook the box its self up the same way to your amp i have two dual voice cooil 12" hooked up to the same amp that way and it rocks without the power protecter turning on
No power
With your multimeter set to DC volts, the black meter lead on the ground terminal of the amp and the head unit on (so the amp will have remote voltage applied), touch the red lead alternately to the B+ and remote terminals of the amp. If the voltage is below ~11 volts, you need to check the wiring feeding whichever line is too low.
What is wrong with my system
wiring may not be the problem but try connecting each coil to separate channel and make sure polarities are correct.
