try disconnecting on of the motors and see if the problem goes away, if it doesn't then reconnect and then disconnect the other rear motor, if the problem goes away after disconnecting on of the rear motors then that motor is your issue

check the connectors to the motor under the seat and see if they are connected

test it with a multimeter and see if its showing 6v or not

does this have a special battery that is wired to plug into the train-if it is,are the wires the same colors as in the battery you just replaced-they should be color coded- to switch the wires, cut them on the battery side of the plug switch them-you can get an automotive wire splicing kit at a parts store like autozone,that you can make the connections with -cheers Denny

its under the seat

sometimes there is a Philips head screw in the middle on top of the grill that needs to be removed, and then there is two clips on the side of the grill that pull outward toward the tires to fold the battery compartment down

I'd check the connector for the shifter switch, they hot melt glue them to hold them on, but sometimes they become disconnected or lose when driving

check the switch and make sure that it is securely connected

sounds like a loose shifter switch or foot pedal switch, try lifting the rear of the vehicle and then hit the gas pedal and see if it runs longer, if it does then your switches just need to be seated better

1. Remove the center caps from the rear wheels 2. use a 13mm wrench on each side and loosen the bolts 3. remove the rear wheels and axle 4. remove the red pin at the front of the dump bed 5. remove the two black pins at the rear of the dump bed 6. remove the dump bed 7. lift the green plastic cover off 8. remove the two screws that hold the gearbox and motor to the body 9. remove the gearbox and motor assembly 10. remove the two screws that hold the motor to the gearbox

sounds like the battery is shot, if you shake the battery does it sound like there is sand in it? If it does then the cells are dried up, which is no good

check the fuse on the battery and make sure it is good

sounds like the shifter switch might be the problem

yes both wheels should turn in all 3 gears, high low reverse
