2007 mercury montego premier turn signal flasher relay location?

There is no turn signal / hazard flasher relay ? Controlled by SJB - smart junction box (body control module) Principles of Operation The smart junction box (SJB) sends multiple voltage reference signals to the multifunction switch. When the multifunction switch is in the LH or RH TURN positions, or the hazard lamp switch is engaged, that input signal is routed to ground. When the SJB receives a request for a turn signal or hazard lamps, the SJB supplies voltage to the appropriate turn lamps. Can't use LED"S

I have a 2005 Mercury Mountaineer and the overdrive and the check engine light comes on with the check transmission. What could cause that, what do I do?

Question edited for clarity. Question moved to model category. The check engine light alerts you that you have a problem that needs attention and then you connect a code reader scan tool and it gives you numbers. Those number tell the problem and how to fix. They are called DTCs (Diagnostic Trouble Codes). Garages will normally read the codes for you for free in the hope of getting the work. Or you can get a cheap code reader yourself. I have the FIXD scanner which sends the information to an app on my smartphone. https://www.google.com/search?q=fixd+scanner& DTC Codes https://www.google.com/search?q=2005+Mercury+Mountaineer+DTC+codes .

2008 Mercury Mariner intermittent starting problems

so the key is not consistant and the car came with 2 good keys day1 new, lost 2nd? the key is bad, is the IMMO lamp glowing wrong per users guide>? but to me this evidence is a bad key. the first thing to know and worrry is , never have just one good key on any modern IMMO car. and never ignore the IMMO lamp no start means what?
  1. starter dead, and silent or only clicks or chatters
  2. starter motor cranks the engine fast but engine does not start.
  3. or IMMO lamp glows wrong
check all fuses scan the pcm for key errors or related. IMMO means page 91 in users guide free and i guess lost. SECURILOCK™ PASSIVE ANTI-THEFT SYSTEM SecuriLock™ passive anti-theft system is an engine immobilization system. This system is designed to help prevent the engine from being started unless a coded Integrated Keyhead Transmitter (IKT) is happy. next page the good or not happy words When the ignition is in the 1 (LOCK) position, the indicator will flash once every 2 seconds to indicate the SecuriLock™ system is functioning as a theft deterrent. • When the ignition is in the 3 (RUN) position, the indicator will glow for 3 seconds to indicate normal system functionality. If a problem occurs with the SecuriLock™ system, the indicator will flash rapidly or glow steadily when the ignition is in the 3 (RUN) position. If this occurs, the vehicle will not start and should be taken to an authorized dealer for service again never have just 1 good key. my guess is the keyswitch also has problems.

1999 Mercury Mountaineer V6 4.0. What could it be causing it to keep stalling on me when I get it started?

Question edited for clarity. Question moved to model category. Most of the things you swapped out would not have caused that. Here are a few ideas https://www.google.com/search?q=1999+mercury+mountaineer+keeps+stalling It would have been better to pay for diagnostics using a pro grade scan tool computer. They can record what happens. https://www.google.com/search?q=auto+electrician+near+me ..

How do you replace the blend door actuator in a 1997 Mercury Cougar?

  1. Locate the blend door actuator. The actuator is located behind the dashboard, usually on the passenger side. It is a small, rectangular motor with a wiring harness and a linkage arm.
  2. Disconnect the battery. Before beginning any work on the electrical system, disconnect the battery to avoid any electrical shorts or other accidents.
  3. Remove the dashboard panel. In order to access the blend door actuator, the dashboard panel may need to be removed. Consult the vehicle's repair manual for specific instructions on how to remove the panel.
  4. Remove the old blend door actuator. Disconnect the wiring harness and the linkage arm from the old blend door actuator. Remove any mounting screws or bolts that secure the actuator to the dashboard.
  5. Install the new blend door actuator. Install the new blend door actuator in the same location as the old actuator. Secure the actuator with any mounting screws or bolts. Connect the wiring harness and the linkage arm to the new actuator.

2000 mercury cougar 2.5 v6 where does this hose go

It can be difficult to diagnose the exact location of a disconnected hose without seeing the vehicle in person, but based on your description, it sounds like the hose may be a vacuum line that is disconnected. A disconnected vacuum line can cause issues with acceleration and can also cause other problems with the engine's performance. To locate where the hose connects, you can try tracing it back to its source. It may connect to a vacuum port on the intake manifold, throttle body, or another component. Look for any disconnected ports or fittings that match the diameter of the hose. You can also consult the vehicle's service manual for a diagram or description of the vacuum system to help you locate where the hose should connect. If you are still unable to locate where the hose connects, it may be helpful to bring the vehicle to a mechanic or automotive shop for further diagnosis.

1997 Mercury Cougar. I lost the keys. How do I replace the lock cylinder please?

Question edited for clarity and make some sentences. Question moved to model category. You are going in a very wide 'around the house' route to fix something very simple and missing some important steps. You only need another key made based on the VIN Number of the vehicle. They all have a code, and the locksmith if properly registered can cut you a key to fit based on the key code assigned to the VIN. Then you have to have the anti-theft chip in the key linked to the ECM (engine control module) to allow you to start the vehicle. Get two keys made. You are supposed to have a key cut when you lost key number 2 and were only left with 1 key..
