LG Tromm washer WM2688HWM tE error code. Very easy
LG Tromm Washing machine te error. The manual says to call for service. Not much help there. The reason for the error is the thermistor circuit (resistive element that becomes less resistive as it increases in temperature). The thermistor acts as a heat sensor. In many cases, the error occurs because the wireing harness is too tight at the bottom of the drum and one of the wires in this circuit becomes disconnected with all of the movement of the drum (unbalanced load, normal cylcing etc).
1. Unplug the washing machine from the wall. The thermistor circuit is at line voltage (110 in the U.S.) and it will bite! So do this first before proceeding.
2. Move the washer out so you can get access to the back of it.
3. Remove the stainless panel (the one that is not painted, it is large (aprox. 16x18 inches). It is held in place by 4 phillips screws.
4. Locate the thermistor connection block near the bottom of the machine, at the center of the wash drum. It is the small white connector that has two wires running to it. One wire is dark blue, the other is light blue. Insure that neither wire has pulled out of the connector. If either of them have, repair the connector and provide enough extra wire ( aprox. 2") to provide cable relief.
5. If the cable connector and wires are ok, there are other solutions here that recommend either cleaning or replacing the thermistor.
Good luck to you.
LG WM-2077 Water leaks out of the Air Vent on the back
Be sure you are using HE detergent and only about 1 Tablespoon for a load. You are ending up with too many bubbles in the machine and when it goes to spin the bubbles come out the air vent. There is a valve that closes during spin but bubbles are not strong enough to lift the valve it has to be water hitting it before it closes.
How can I make the
You can turn the power on, and hit the spin speed button, and then start it. It should drain out.
If your still getting an LE error, and already have replaced the Hall sensor, it's most likely the Stator. If you know your date of purchase, this is most likely still under the 7 or 10 year warranty. Meaning LG pays for the part (over $100.00+),
LG Fuzzy Logic 8.2 kg top louder WF-8071TTP
This dE error or fault code to indicate that the door is not latching properly. Check the lid or door operation to be sure it's not binding and that the door alignment is correct. Also, check the door/lid hinges to be sure they're not binding. Finally, make sure the door catch is in place and not broken. You may need to replace the door hook/catch or the door lock assembly.
Where can i find a free service manual for LG
Unfortunately you won't find one.
LG only supply their servicing manuals to their repair centres and strictly enforce their copyright, so the manuals are not available to the public and when they do occasionally appear the material has been stolen.
Usually I'd recommend a generic repair manual such as the one by Haynes, but LG's direct drive system and a number of other unique technical features mean that the Haynes book isn't as useful as it could be. The WM3431HW is a large capacity and technically advanced washer dryer so it's certainly not as straightforward to service as a traditional front loading washer or dryer. Many LG spare parts can also be difficult to source outside of their own approved servicing organisation.
I respectfully suggest that you either get LG to fix your machine or post a question on this site describing the problem to see if we can assist you.

LG Tromm washer constant DE door error problem
A DE Error Code is indicative of a “Door Error”. This indicates that the washing machine
door is not shutting, locking or opening. This means that there is something faulty with the door switch and locking mechanism . You should get this replaced or you may have water where you do not want it. biigg53566
The front drain pump filter is plugged with sand
the best way to drain the machane is to lean the machine back prop something under it and then using a bucket take the drain hose out an bring it as low as you can to the floor. This will make it easer for you to open the front at the bottom an clean the drain trap ,it is possible that there will be a little water left in there good luck

My LG washer wont turn on, if I unplug it from the wall and plug it back in, it will work for one cycle, but then the next time I go to use it, I have to unplug it again to get it to work.
After searching for the answer as to why my LG WM2455H wouldn't start unless I unplugged it and then plugged it again, and trying many "solutions", such as holding the power and start buttons for x amount of seconds, I finally found one that worked. Just before ordering a new control panel, I decided to search one more time for an answer, and found a young man claim that his uncle told him the answer to solving the problem. It's a little weird, and I was very skeptical, as you will be, but it DID WORK to let my washer power on after running cycles of wash. Here it is: Within 12 seconds, push in the POWER button and let go, then open and close the washer door, repeat by pushing in power button again, and let it go, then immediately open and close the washer door again. Do this six times within a 12 second time span. According to the young man on youtube, this procedure RESETS the controls. I would still be a little skeptical, except my machine behaves like it's suppose to now. PLUS, I did nothing that might be attributed to the solution (except think about how I was going to move the heavy washer away from the wall to replace the Control Panel I planned to buy). So, I hope this works for you. It certainly saved me a lot of time and money.
