Jet Tech Systems Refrigerators - Popular Questions, Answers, Tips & Manuals

Make up a way to blow warm air from the condenser over the glass and your frost problem will disappear! The higher the temperature of the air - the more moisture it can absorb. The reason you are having the problem is that you are cooling moisture laden air and it has to give up the moisture as you cool it. So run some warm air over it and it will absorb the moisture for you = problem gone.

Depends on the settings you set the frig and freezer to , as soon the settings are reached it should shut off, anything longer than a few hours points to a fault.

Need a little more info, but it should have a removable container that hold the ice. That comes out. If it is too jammed up with ice to move it, you will have to carefully chip away at some of it, or let it thaw. Once you are able, take the container out and empty it completely dry it out. If that doesn't do it, there is a problem with the mechanism.

Have you reset the icemaker? Usually there's a lever or switch that you have press to reset it. You did not post the make/model of your fridge so it's difficult to say which reset device you have.

The model # is actually MFI and not MF1. The part for the bypass plug will be 12664501SP. Most people do not know what it is when they get their new fridge and throw it in a junk drawer! Look around as you probably have it somewhere.

I assume that you mean that the refrigerator compartment is not getting cold enough. After checking that the setting is turned up for the refrigerator, see if there is air flow when you push the door button to a closed position. You may hear the fan running, unless the unit is not running to begin with at that time.

Check the back of the freezer is see if there is ice or frost on the back wall. This would indicate it not defrosting causing the problem. The other thing to check is if the fan in the freezer is coming on.

P1 is usually the code for a temperature probe error - the refrigeration should now operate on a time cycle until the temp probe is replaced

Without knowing your model# to know which fridge you have makes it difficult to tell you how to do this. Most models have the lower frame supporting the pan and it is not easily removed. It is also very possible to damage the pan if not done correctly so I normally never recommend someone do this! Once it crack, you need to replace it!
