The water is possibly from reverse cycle defrosting. This usually drains into a dish on the compressor motor and evaporates when motor is running. Check if this dish has a crack or other leaking area. Also check drain hose from refrigerator is not broken or come away from dish on motor

With a miniscule leak, it is not easy to detect with liquid type detector, a halogen leak detector may or may not detect it.
What after a leak is detected, it needs to be patched, soldered, but refrigerant would need to be removed first.
You may install a tap on service port, it clamps on the line and no soldering required.
With normal operation, the top 2/3 of the condenser coil is hotter than the bottom 1/3 of the coil.

Most refrigerators need little maintenance. However you should periodically check condenser coils and clean as dust on these reduces their operation in condensing the refrigerant gas. Also clean the evaporator coils (if you can access) to again enhance operation. A general clean of the inside will make unit look good and possibly remove old products.

A sensor tube ( looks like a wire ) in front, at air inlet, is the temperature sensor and many times this sensor is poorly cared for and even broken off by people. It's my guess, this sensor may be the problem for it controls compressor cycling on and off.

Probably the unit is trying to fill because the on/off bar it down (senses the level of ice in the tray). Lift it up to turn off.

Set it initially to 5, then adjust after 8 hours as needed. If the regular liquids (not alcohol) start to freeze in the fridge section, it's too cold!
