1. Bluetooth device A looks for other Bluetooth devices in the area

In order to find other Bluetooth devices, Bluetooth device A must be set to discoverable mode. When set to discoverable, Bluetooth device A will allow other Bluetooth devices to detect its presence and attempt to establish a connection.


You may set your discover setting off if you like (It is recommended that you turn it off when not using the Bluetooth). When the discover setting is off, no other Bluetooth device will be able to find it. Undiscoverable devices can still communicate with each other but they have to initiate communication themselves.


2. Bluetooth device A finds Bluetooth device B

   Usually the discoverable device will indicate what type of device it is (Such as a printer, cell phone, headset, etc.) and its Bluetooth device name. The Bluetooth device name is the name that you give the Bluetooth device or the factory name that originally was programmed.
   

3. Bluetooth Device A prompts you to enter a password (PassKey)

   With advanced devices (i.e. computers, smartphones), both users must agree on the Passkey and enter it into their device. The code can be anything you like as long as it is the same for both Bluetooth wireless devices.
   

   On other devices, such as Bluetooth headsets, the Passkey stays the same. Refer to the product's manual for the default passkey. Most often, the default passkey is "0000".
   

4. Bluetooth device A sends the Passkey to Bluetooth device B

A method to do pairing in "the second channel."

1. Trun off BT3030 first.
2. Continue pushing the power button till "Jabra" mark turns on pink next.

Attention： Continue pushing the power button after "Jabra" mark became the blue.

They don't have that specific models' ear gels for sale but they do have some that should be compatible with that headset. Just compare the picture to the ones you had as quite a few are interchangeable.

Put the headset in the cradle, press the button the base with the >< picture and hold till the blue light on the headset lights up then disappears.

Fixed all the spelling mistakes. Moved from Computers to a better Category. It is either from the car electronics, or the unit is faulty. Borrow another Bluetooth device and use it in the car.

not really sure what your problem is ,
but if it is on how to pair a bluetooth ear piece to the phone this will vary slightly depending on the ear piece you are trying to pair.

I had the same problem with my GN9125 headset and GN1000 remote answerer (lifter arm). There is a knob at the top end of the lifter arm contraption that adjusts "Ring Sensor Sensitivity" (yeah, NOT a very intuitive phrase!) - You have to twist the knob in the direction of the arrow to "increase the sensitivity". Twist it slowly while the phone is ringing and eventually you'll start hearing the ring in the headset. You can see diagrams in the GN1000 manual, which you can find online by googling.

They are sold with the firmware and language for the country they are selling to. You have to change the firmware to your country. Easy to do with a computer.

Okay, I had the same problem of Jabra Journey not talking anymore, 'voice on connected "etc. And instead it only made sounds like bing bing... Here's the answer and its so simple! Turn the unit off with the slider off/on switch, (symbols are - or o). Then, press and hold the button at the very end of the unit, (symbol looks something like sound waves), while sliding the power back on. That's all there is to it and you'll hear it start talking again.

Does your computer have built in bluetooth? if yes,make sure you press and hold the stereo bluetooth till its steady blue,,not blinking blue. then on your pc, go the bluetooth section in control panel and search for devices. then you should see the Jabra Audio device.click on it to connect to the Jabra and use the passcode 0000. After it connects, the steady blue should now be blinking blue. Then go to control panel, sound and you should see the Jabra there.Right click on it and click on set as default device. Now play any song and see if you still have it playing in your speakers.Let me know if it works.I have the same Jabra and its really works great.Especially when im working out and dont want no wires around me

If your phone is connected via Bluetooth to the Jabra, I cant see why not. It would be a case of try and see otherwise contact the suppliers and ask them.

See setup of your headset and check mic. Its looking mic problem.
