Water container full but low indication on
I think the water level is read by a magnetic pick up driven by a black floater located 3/4 way towards the back of the water tank.
Make sure this floater can move up and down in its pocket: you can see it through the walls so just shake the tank to see it move, and check that it floats up when you fill water
My Delonghi Magnifica 3400 has a problme with the
My Delonghi Magnifica door was popping open too when the machine would cycle on or off. I found that the shoot on the inside of the door was stuck. This chute is spring loaded. The chute guides the coffee from the diffuser to the dispenser ports. I think it must have been coffee build up on the back side of the chute making it stick. So when the diffuser passed by during cycling the chute would not move out of the way. This makes the door pop open. I cleaned the chute so that it moves freely and no more trouble.
Delonghi magnifica S is making clicking noise when grinding beans and error symbol appears when coffee should be poured. On turning off and on it no longer does the rinse cycle as well
My Delonghi Magnifica was making a ratcheting /clicking noise when it should have been grinding. No coffee grind coming to diffuser, display showed '' Add more Beans''. I used vacuum cleaner to suck up the residual beans from the hopper and used wooden skewer to poke out any beans at top of the grinder. Did not solve. I then removed the protective hood over the inlet to grinder and used vacuum cleaner to remove all grind. With inspection light I could see a foreign object stuck in the grind. It was stuck fast. Using pointed noise pliers I was able to rotate the inner grinder in the reverse direction which released the object upwards and then gripped by PN pliers. Turned out it was a piece of plastic from the bean hopper lid which had broken off near to the front hinge. All working again and we're getting our fix nia.... AM McCooey
Attemps to gind but no beans seem to get through
Machine thinks there are no beans because it is not grinding. Most likely the grinder is blocked. The common causes are a small foreign object, a stale hard bean and moisture (either from water spillage or moist beans). The first thing you should do is vacuum ALL the beans out, set it to the coarsest grind setting and run the grinder a few times ( with no beans). Then put a small amount of fresh beans (make sure they are dry and not from fridge or freezer) in and try again. Give it a few goes. If it still wont grind have a good look down there, if it looks wet let it dry out for a while and try again. If none of thes easy tips help you will have to remove the top grinder burr and clean both burrs. Good luck.

Delonghi PrimaDonna hot water not working
First I assume your machine is not too old? if it is,maybe you need to descale the machine as limescale can build up and block the outlet. If this does not solve the problem, it might be that the element has burnt out. New Machine!!!!!
Our PrimaDonna coffee machine doesnt
Most common cause of this problem is a blockage in the milk jug. First thing you should try is soaking the complete jug top in a quality milk line cleaner (available from specialist coffee machine retailers) for at least an hour and then rinse thoroughly. Then try running a fresh cleaning solution through the jug instaed of milk. Good luck and post again if this doesnt work.
DeLonghi Magnifica is leaking water from the bottom whenever I make a cup
I just fixed a similar problem with my Delonghi Eco 310. Halfway through making a cup water stopped coming out but ran out from underneath.
This is how i fixed it:
First I checked the little tube that goes from the pump and anti drip valve into the boiler unit. There is a clamp on both ends to remove before you can take it out. First fault can occur here, check the black little O-Rings that might still stuck inside the connectors, if they are worn out they might need replacing.
Then check the little tube for any damage, even any fine tiny cracks can lead to a big leak as 15 bar go through it.
In my case there was no damage there, also not on the tubes that come from the watertank into the pump.
After I checked all that and it seemed fine, I turned the machine back on again with open top (careful of any electrical contacts!!!). Then I saw that water and steam came out of the anti drip valve. It seemed the water got sucked into the pump, pumped into the boiler, heated up there and put to 15 bar, but because the valve was broken the water didnt actually came out but searched the easiest way, which was the broken valve, that regulates the pressure. I went on a site for delonghi spare parts, bought a new valve for £5, replaced the old one and -tadaaaa! It works again!
Delonghi Magnifica taking a long
Hi sounds like the heating element is burning outand only drawing minimal power. There is a thermostat on the boiler which could be a fault, but it usually blows and the machine wont heat. Dazza REPAIRER
