Fax forwarding i have a Kyocera Mita km=f1050 Fax machine. A year agoo, I set it up for a fax forwarding to a faster printer. I would like to cancel the fax forwarding coz the faster printer broke, but it is not cancelling. Ther is no instruction in the Manual for cancelling fax forwarding. help..............

Try turning off the ECM mode when sending to that number. The instructions are in the Fax user manual. If you dont have it go to www.gfbm.net and yo can get a link to Kyocera manuals.

Call a cell phone from the machine and verify this is the correct fax phone number that shows up

You must be absolutely sure you have an ANALOG phone line. There is no other cure.

Kyocera fax systems are very picky.

the issue needs to be resolved on the other end..It's not an issue with your machine...They need to do 1 of 3 things...either setup distinctive ring with their phone company...or purchase a fax line.. or get something called "the stick"

Press the fax button....look in the tabs to set machine to auto-receive.

press ON HOOK and listen for the dial tone.

Double check with the fax card if its really connected, coz usually when you cannot access to register key this means your fax card is not recognized yet, just unplug the fax card and plug it again, and check the status.

make sure you plug the phone line where it says line not T1 ot T2
and to know if your line work, hit fax buttom and then look to the screen and touch onhook buttom, if you heard the phone hook sound this means is working fine, if not check the fax card.
