Spa2102-r does not connect my phone. My new ISP does not help me to make a configuration. The unit worked perfectly with the earlier ISP.

if you are using a ppoe connection then save your isp account user name/password in the modem weather it be a cable modem or a dsl modem and then setup and configure your access point device and SAVE your settings in the device.
if you using a dhcp connection from isp modems then just connect your access point device and setup amd configure your settings and SAVE them as well.
the only thing that i can think of is that you are not saving your settings and configurations. then when you you loose power the device reverts back to the default settings. also note that if there is some kind of "auto-configuartion" in the access point you may want to change that to manual configuration and create a new user name/password for your access point as well. please you MUST be hardwired connection when setting up the access point for the first time. please refer to the user guide for your access point for more detailed help on settings and configurations and how to save them in your device.

You may need a service provider with their subscription so that you can configure in it to make this device work.

to get the modem configuration page It depends on the router which is used by your ISP . there are different types of routers used like NETGEAR, HUAWEI, CISCO etc

Most of the ISP uses NETGEAR , so to get the modem configuration page you need to type http://192.168.1.1, if it is not the NETGEAR router then you need to type http://192.168.0.1, there are big list for the different routers different ip is used.

When you forward the packets by entering http://192.168.1.1 if it is the correct one then your router will not forward those packets to others, the router itself will display you the configuration page i mean it doesnot forward those packets .
you can search the different routers and their list of the addresses to get the modem configuration page.

if you are using the USB modem or wireless connections those things which are discussed earlier doesnot apply because USB modem or wireless connection works on different mechanism, The single public ip address can shared to the large number of users and there may be large number of users working on the single public ip ...

ok you will need to ethernet cables
and a phone line
connect the phone line with a filter to ur modem
then connect to both PC and laptop
then you should be able to connect
unless its a new one
then you will need to configure to the specification of ur ISP

what you can go is reset the modem and then try.if it is a cable connection then your isp settings is automtically picked up by the modem but if it is dsl and if your isp has given you user name and password check if it matches with the earlier details...
im sure it is not a hardware issue as i have worked with the a reputed isp company so probably they have changed the settings which you old modem doesnot identifies,so we need to configure the old modem..

your SPA2102-R seems to have one ethernet connection and one internet connection.
your WRT54G-TM seems to have one internet connection and 4 ethernet connections.

What you are trying to achive is; plug a ethernet cable into the ethernet connection on your SPA2102-R then plug the other end into the internet port of the WRT54G-TM

hope this helps, I have assumed that you intend to use a DSL broadband supplier not ADSL.

if you are changing service from DSL to ADSL then your WRT54G-TM needs to be first in line configured and working. then plug the internet port from the SPA2102-R into any of the WRT54G-TM ethernet ports.

Make sure that your new modem is configured with the correct settings that your ISP requires you to have. Contact your ISP tech support and make sure that the modem is set up properly.

If your planning to connect the phone adapter behind a router make sure that the following ports are open/forwarded on the router; UDP ports 5060-5061, UDP ports 16384-32767 take note that 5060 and 5051 one are SIP ports and must be assigned to the IP address of that was assigned to by the router to the adapter or the IP that was manually configured on it.
