When you boot up to the log in screen type in administrator as user to log in if you cant log in

during the boot up process you will see on the screen for a short amount of time press a certain key to enter set up press and hold that key during the boot up process to enter BIOS scroll down to set user password or supervisor password you can change or remove your password from there also

The most common way that most of us know on how to reset or clear the BIOS password is to physically remove the power from the computer by disconnecting the power plug and then removing a battery for 30 minutes from the motherboard. Another way is to reset the clear CMOS jumper on the motherboard itself. Both of the 2 methods mentioned works because most motherboards use a battery to sustain the BIOS/CMOS settings for the motherboards PROM chip. So by cutting off cmos the battery power, the BIOS/CMOS settings will be erased. Hope this helps

Bought a HP probook 6460b windows 7 n it asks for user name how do I reset it

google how to reset windows 7 login password
endless examples.
on the web and more easy than w8 up.
if the previous owner setup windows 7 live login, this can be harder,.
a local PW is easy,
a live login, not easy due to not being to answer LIVE.com questions.
there are 4 choices
  1. ask seller for the PW, omg simple, just ask.
  2. reload w7 with now lost install disks.(oops)
  3. upgrade to w10 hp supports w8.1 and these can work.
  4. or hack w7 local account. the sticky key hack it is called.
https://www.top-password.com/blog/how-to-reset-windows-7-password-using-sticky-keys-trick/

they sell boot CDs that do this too, cheap. google finds it and 1st hit no kidding.

w10 ,intel and MS, support w10 on this set. 2nd gen CPU

  • Mobile Intel QM67 Express Chipset (vPro configurations with select processors)
  • Mobile Intel HM65 Express Chipset (non-vPro configurations)
HP has no w10 direct support but it might install fresh.
W10 can be rescinded later if you do the w10 update method.
but lost PW w7 must be cured to do any w10 update.
one grand trick is load w10 fresh to new SSD installed
if you dont like w10 or it fails put back old HDD.
super easy that,
w10 is free forever if you do not use live login or personal settings.
OS works, read mail , cruz the net. etc.
no desktop themes... and the like.

Wait till you get access to the mail, or do a complete factory reset of the tablet, losing all data on it.
That is the price of security, when you try to prevent someone else can access your account.

You can download a Windows password reset program to find the admin password, that is the best and direct way without data loss, and burn the program to USB flash drive.

How to open pc asking for password which i do not set any

if it is asking for the BIOS password then you must open the PC and remove the button cell from the mother board for a minute or so and re insert it. This would remove all settings of the 8IOS.
To re set the PC BIOS you must press F2 at bootup and set all the settings again.
However, you should never use a password as one tends to forget it sooner or later.
