My usb flash driver for setool box can't run because i need new version of usb flash driver?

JUST DO A RESET TO YOUR PHONE..IF IT DOSENT WORK USE SONY ERICSON UPDATER SERVICE TO UPDATE THE FIRMWARE...IF THE SERVICE SAYS NO FIRMWARE UPDATE THEN U NEED TO TAKE IT TO THE SERVICE CENTER(FIND IT ON GOOGLE MAPS) OR BUY YOUR OWN SERVICE TOOLS LIKE SETOOL BOX

Your Toshiba PX1396U-3T01 external HDD is USB-attached, so you'll need to acquire a
standard USB cable to accomplish the physical layer attachment. USB cables do not have
the same connector at each end - the system (computer) end has a USB "A" connector (flat-shaped), and the device end (HDD) has a USB "B" connector (square-ish shaped).

IF your version of MSwindows doesn't want to recognize the Toshiba when you plug it in, try
START > Run > then type in "diskmgmt.msc"

then select the command "Rescan disks."

If you're running Mac OS or Linux, repost including your OS (operating system) info.

check the device manager to see if there are any alerts, maybe drivers need updating, otherwise, have a look in the bios settings to see if the usb's are enabled.

You didn't' say which operating system you are using. Any current version of Windows (XP, Vista, 7) should be able to load a driver and not need a download for it. In any event, you can find the driver you need on the SanDisk website here:

which code? do you mean phone security code? a programme called setool lite can reset it if this if that is what you mean.

(unpack with winrar or winace to a new folder, your antivirus may tell you its a virus but this is a false positive due to flash drivers)

make sure ya battery is full before you start this.

remove sim and memory card

put battery back in phone but do not switch on

open setool lite by clicking the phone icon inside the folder

select w200 on the list at the top and press read gdfs nothing else

press and hold 'c' and connect usb cable

it will then say found new hardware and ask for drivers which are located in the folder that has setool lite inside (this may take a few mins)

when it has read the phone it come up with a log on the left hand side and will say done at the bottom.

your phone security code is now reset to 0000

a programme called setool lite could reset the code back to 0000

turn antivirus resident sheild off (it will report this programme as a false positive)
when downloaded extract file with winrar

turn phone off and remove sim and memory card
do not turn phone back on!
select k550 in the list
press 'identify' on setool lite
press and hold 'c' on the phone and plug usb cable in

it will ask for driver which is in the setool lite folder so direct it to there

after driver installed setool will then read your phone and displa info on the screen

as soon as that has finished unplug your phone, put sim and memory card back on and the security code should be reset to 0000

Let's check your Windows 98 Version first :)

• Right click on My Computer and select Properties
• On the System Properties page that opens up click on the General tab, if it is not already on that page.

• Version 4.10.2222 is Windows 98 Second Edition (98SE)

Fo Windows 98 FE:

1. Download and install the Windows 98 Service Pack (35.5Mb)
2. Download to your desktop the driver file from the Download section below
3. Remove ALL drivers for USB flash drives in Device Manager (Optional)

5. Remove ALL unknown devices from Device Manager

you need to have a usb supported cable for your phone.

To connect phone in flashing mode, and perform tasks like flashing the main firmware, FS or to upload files to FS you must have USB Flash drivers installed on your computer.
With out installing USB Flash drivers, you can’t use XS++ or SeTool 2 lite or JDFlasher.
In good old days we used to use SEUS to do this automatically for us, but now SEUS updates phone to CID53 which is not desirable, so hence we install USB Flash Drivers manually. Here is the tutorial ! Please read the tutorial completely and also check out the video attached !

Installing Drivers (for Windows XP)
Download the necessary drivers.
Then unpack the downloaded archive to a directory, your choice. (Use WinRAR to extract from archive)
1. Switch OFF your phone !
2. Remove the battery !
3. Reinsert your battery !
4. Don’t start your phone !
5. HOLDING ‘C’ on your phone, connect your phone to USB Cable !
6. Don’t Leave C through out driver installation.
You get a notification in System Tray ! Saying SEMC USB Flash Device
A new window should appear “Found new hardware wizard”
It asks permissions for to search for drivers for the device. Select “No, not this time” and click next.
Then select the option INSTALL FROM A SPECIFIED LOCATION(ADVANCED) and click next
Then choose “Search for the best drivers in these locations”, and check the “Include this location in this search”, now browse for the downloaded drivers.
Click next, Wait for some time, drivers get installed.
Now…….
Open the directory, where you unpacked the archive, In the directory, you will find a ggsemc.inf file. Click on it with the right mouse button, and then click ‘Install‘.
