Windows XP
1 Close all applications and programs. This is always recommended when you are altering system or device settings.
2 Hit the "Start" button in the bottom left corner of your desktop.
3 Scroll up and click "Control Panel."
4 Select "Printers and other hardware" and then "Mouse."
5 Select "Button Actions." With the drop-down menus, switch the left button to "Right" and right button to "Left." Hit the "Apply" button and hit the "OK" button. Close all windows.
Windows Vista

2 Hit the "Start" button in the bottom left corner of your desktop.
3 Scroll up and click "Control Panel."
4 Click the "Mouse" icon. Click the "Buttons" tab.
5 Put a check mark in the box next to "Switch primary and secondary buttons."
6 Click the "Apply" button and then the "OK" button. Close all windows.
Windows 7

3 Type "mouse" (without the quotes) in the search box that appears.
4 Select "Change Mouse Settings."
5 Put a check mark in the box next to "Switch primary and secondary buttons."
6 Click the "Apply" button and then the "OK" button. Close all windows.
