I don't have the installation book, and I need to know how the floor support system should be under tub area, to hold the Cadenza Elite Corner whirpool. Are the normal floor joists ok or should it be supported with extra due to weight of water/person for this particular model?

What I would do is just overlay the existing floor with 3/4 inch 6 ply plywood'You would probably be ok without it but this will help to more evenly distribute the load.Thank you.

When starting to wash i need to reposition load in order for machine to run

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,

I mostly answer front load problems but ' out of balance' is a common problem with both!
So- I don't know your particular machine but the initial cure is the same.
It is necessary to ensure absolutely that the machine has all 4 feet very firmly on the floor, and I mean firmly ;-0)
Doesn't matter whether it is empty or not but switch it off then-
very firmly push one front corner diagonally into the centre of the machine and see if the machine moves or rocks AT ALL, even the slightest. If it does you will need the open-ended spanner which came with the (new) machine........which of course went missing a long time ago?!! An adjustable spanner will suffice.
Adjust the foot under that corner downwards until it is very firmly- almost pushing- against the floor but not so far that the corner lifts up!
If this corner did not rock do the same to the other.
Once you cannot rock the machine the slightest little bit, screw the locking nuts up tight to the underside of the machine so that they will not move. Ideally the rear feet should also be locked.

(If this has not cured the problem it is possible that the internal suspension is malfunctioning.)

If this has assisted you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck!

My washer will not drain i think there is a blockage inside and i was wondering if you could tell me what to do or how to open it thanks maryanne

the blockage is most likely under your clothes basket. to get to it you will need to remove the basket. you need a 7/16 socket, a pair of pliers, and a 1 to 2" putty knife. using the putty knife push the 2 releases on either side of the top about 2 to 3" in from the corner. they can be hard to release so don't be afraid to pull hard up while pushing. then open the lid and raise the top up to lean against the wall. once top is resting against wall, remove the plastic ring around the top of the tub. this releases with several tabs around the outside. the is a hose connected to this on the back left corner area. use pliers and release clamp and remove hose, then set the ring to the side.
at the bottom of the tub is the impeller, agitator. at its center is a plastic button, remove this. under that is a 7/16 bolt. remove this bolt completely.
then grab the plastic ring around the clothes basket and pull straight up. it may take some force to lift. once it is free remove and set on floor out of the way. the outside of the basket is like a cheese grater so be careful it can get ya.
under the basket you will see your blockage. if not then you need a 1/4" socket to remove the plastic strainer at the back of the tub in the bottom. the clear the blockage and reassemble in reverse.
good luck

Tub unbalanced in spin cycle with no clothes in tub, starts off in slow speed and right before it gets into high speed, tub goes to wobling and machine goes in to over load, or OL error and will not spin...

We cannot get the washing machine in balance. It jumps all around. It is level and we put the clothes in as balanced as we can, but don't know what to do. Any ideas?

Sounds like one or more of the springs that hold the tub in place could have broken or come loose. Tilt the machine and look under and see if there are any spare parts on the floor or any springs unhooked.

There is a spot almost in the middle of the tub that is softer than the area around it. I am very concerned that there is water damage that we are unaware of. Are soft spots common?

With some manufactures yes. If you can get to the area from under the tub drill some small holes through the flooring and use a stop collar on the drill bit so you don't drill into the tub the put some expanding foam in the holes so it fills the area between the tub bottom and the floor to give the tub bottom some support.

The tub should have been set in cement mortar to prevent this from happening but that

The tub is off center & is rocking around and leaks when filling.

Sounds like you are missing a spring or two on the bottom of the machine. Lean the machine back so that you can look under it. There should be two springs on each corner that attach from the frame that sits on the floor and the bottom edge of the outer tub. (Each corner pulls against the opposite corner holding the tub in the center) On the outer edge of the tub there is a piece that the spring attach to each end. If one or two are not in place the tub will sit to one side. You will proberly find that some of the springs on the back corners are not attached, causing the tub to be pulled forward or away from the fill spout.

Water Building up Inside Front Load Washer when not in use

Okay, it is normal to hear water sloshing around inside the wash tub when the washer is not in use. A small amount of residual water remains in the wash tub under the wash basket (stainless steel tub), and resides in the drain line and drain pump. That's why it is important to keep the door slightly open when not in use to allow the drum to air out. The water will not evaporate, but it will help reduce the build up of odors, mold and mildew.

Now...if your washer is slowly accumulating water in the wash basket area over time, your water inlet valve is probably starting to fail. The leak can be very subtle and you may not notice it. The water only comes from one source - the fill valve via the dispenser. If you wish to replace it, the part is available at searspartsdirect.com. Just type in your model number and the part you need can be found under the "Dispenser" heading as item number 1. The replacement is very simple if you follow these steps:

1. UNPLUG the washer and turn off water supply.
2. Remove both fill hoses.
3. Remove the top panel of the washer by removing the screws that hold the panel in place in the rear of the washer.
4. Slide the top panel back, then it lifts off.
5. The water inlet valve is located in the left rear of the washer as facing from the front.
6. Remove the rubber hose leading from the valve and the electrical connections.
7. Remove the mounting screws holding the inlet valve in place.
8. Re-install new valve using these steps inthe reverse order given.

I hope you find this information helpful. If you have further questions, please post back and let me know.
