I am printing barcodes from a Microsoft Access database to an Allegro2 printer. It takes too long to print. From pressing the send button to starting to print is 25 seconds.

Miaharoon: Printing via Windows driver it's too long time because the driver sent a lot data to printer. Also the print speed via serial port it's slow. Inside driver, install Datamax printer fonts and barcode fonts to use it in Windows programs.

Hi I am printing barcode labels on a Zebra Tlp2844-Z. I can print resident barcodes in passthrough mode using the old Zebra driver (1.0.0.43) but the barcode does not print using the ZDesigner driver...

Have you tried creating the barcode / label using the ZDesigner software? It is available free on their website and I'm sure you'll find it easy to use. Hope this helps!

I can't send a fax from my vista program with out printing out the fax first and sending it the old way, and that waste paper. in the xp or word 2003 I can go to the send in the file and the fax wizzard...

You need to go to printers and choose 'add a printer'. Under add printer, choose the printer called "MS FAX." That will install microsoft fax as a printer. Next, print your document by going to File, Print... (make sure it says "PRINT..." then you should see a selection screen, choose ms fax, and there you go. That should do it.

Programmatically printing using C#

You can print labels with windows driver or sending scape commands. If you have problems with the escapes you will design the label with bartender (you have a demo in the CD) and when you have finished with the design you can print to a file. Open that file and you will find all escape command needed to print.

Barcodes print too long

This is defendant on the program you use to print labels with. The printer responds to either a print job sent to the driver (like a standard windows printer). Or you can send an EPL program to the printer in order to use internal barcode generating features of the printer. The dimensions of the barcode are controlled via the EPL script. See the EPL programming guide avaialble on Zebra's website for more info.
