The control panel is acting strangely...it starts a cycle but next it beeps and goes to a different cycle. Or it won\'t start at all, stops in mid-cycle, control panel starts blinking and beeping. I have unplugged the washer, let it sit for awhile but it still goes crazy when I try to start a load of laundry.

Stop 2006 Ford crown vic fro m beeping

Austin Parker... hello,

When car electronics DECDE to act strangely... it is ALWAYS a good time to check for BATTERY TERMINAL corrosion...
(If you are not comfortable playing with highly corrosive materials... IT'S SERVICE STATION TIME.

So...
You have removed the key... The car is fully in PARK...
BRAKES applied... Lights all turned off... (no lights on dash?).

Repeat your last exit cycle...

Get back in start the car... Make sure everything functions as normal Set your brake... Park, off the lights (everything)...

Put it in gear...

Still beeping... (write down your radio settings)

Time to do a Bill Gates... (hard power cycle)
Disconnect your negative battery lead
and take a 10 minute break...

Reconnect battery... start car & park it again... OK?

ELSE...

If it resumes beeping it will be time to beg, borrow or buy that OBD Reader you always wanted any-way!

HOPE this helps

Water goes in it washes for little while then buzzer starts before wash cycle ends

Hi Gina,
When your machine stops during the cycle does it beep & hold some of the wash progress lights on?
This is how it displays where the fault is coming from.
The motor controller is the most common for this type of fault.
Thanks

Won t stop beeping

if it's just continuously beeping, then you may have a shorted control board. This isn't an error code, so if it keeps beeping, you may need to replace the control board itself.

Fisher and Paykel Smartdrive washing machine won't fill up

Your fault code is 131,RPS faulty.
130. (10000010) Phase 1 to 6 Single Rotor Position Sensor Error
The Motor Controller has found an error in the pattern received from the Rotor
Position Sensor. Likely causes of this fault are a bad connection on the harness
between the Rotor Position Sensor and the Motor Controller, or a faulty Rotor
Position Sensor.
Primary Source: Wiring.
Action:
1) Check for corrosion on the edge connector of the Rotor Position Sensor and
the Motor Controller module connector.
2) Check the contacts on the rotor positional sensor end of the hall harness to
see if any have been damaged. (Each set of contacts in the socket has two
wipers. If the distance between these wipers varies between different
contacts, replace the rotor positional sensor harness).
Secondary Source: Rotor Position Sensor.
Action:
Check the Rotor Position Sensor with an R.P.S. tester. Replace if faulty.
Tertiary Source: Motor Controller module.
Action:
Replace Motor Controller module.
131. (10000011) Phase 1 to 6 - Repetitive Rotor Position Sensor Error
This fault is similar to fault number 130 above but differs slightly in that it is a
continuous condition. See fault code 130 for service procedure

I can't get the control panel to reset. The wash cycle light comes on but it just beeps and the dishwasher won't start. I press the start button and it stops beeping for a minute but it still...

II might need the actual model number. However, you can go to page 9 on this manual and check if the flashing options can fix the problem. I am assuming you have already tried to turn the power off and back on.

The ohter thing to try is the reset sequence. Within 6-7 secs press High Temp/ Heat Dry/ High Temp/ Heat Dry/ High Temp/ Heat Dry. All lights should light up, press Start button to exit.

It's a switch either in the control panel or at the top of the tub with a small tube connected to it which goes down between the inner and outer tube. As the water level increases the air in the tube is compressed until there is enough pressure to make the switch stopping the water from filling. This tube can get clogged and the switch won't work. Remove the tube and clean it out. Blowing on the tube when it's still connected to the switch will make the switch if it's working and clear.

The control panel stays lit after cycle ends. it won't shut off and beeps several times during cycle

Hello grumpy 96
Welcome,

You said, the control panel stays lit after cycle ends. it won't shut off and beeps several times during cycle

First try Pressing STOP/CANCEL to clear the display.
If this does not do the trick.

Sounds like we need to try to reset the system!

Huuum At your service!
Lets try this,
Like with an error code.
This can reset the system if it is electronic!
Unplug the appliance and wait a 5 minutes then restart it.
If you can't reach the plug, use the breaker to cut the power for 5 minutes.

It's like rebooting your computer when its acting strange!
Usually it corrects some error problems if they are not serious.
Or they are sometimes just a glitch.

Let me know how it works!
Waiting for your reply!

Please remember to leave a rating when you are done!
Thank You

3 audible beeps every 20-25 seconds

Try unplugging the washer for about 20 minutes then plug back in and use. I have found that this actually works! The only thing I can figure out is that it takes time for the electronic control to clear. If that doesn't fix the problem I would call sears tech since it is less than a year old. They have a 1-2 year warranty.
