When i search for new devices on my BT it finds the keyboard then i have to enter a pin wich is shown i just have to re-type it with the wireless keyboard then it says press enter on your wireless keyboard. then it gives an error ?

my first guess is your PC has no Bluetooth at all , as 1/2 of them sold that way was and OPTION day one, look in device manager first.

Keep Pressing the BT hub button until the light continuously burn. Search your BT name in the printer bluetooth device. connect it using the PIN 0000.

Obtain a PUK Code

Instructions: When the error message "ENTER PUK CODE" is shown on the screen of the device:

1. Log into myAT&T.
2. Select Wireless from the myAT&T tab at the top of the page.
3. Select Phone/Device.
4. Click Unblock SIM Card.
5. A new page will open, containing the PUK code for your phone. Enter the code on your phone's screen to unblock the SIM and create a new PIN.

Unblock SIM Card

1. Enter the eight-digit PUK code on the phone, then press OK/Yes.
   Note: Some Motorola phone users need to enter **05* if "enter PUK" is not already displayed. After entering **05*, enter the eight-digit PUK code and press OK.
2. Select a new PIN code, then press OK/Yes.
3. Re-enter the PIN code, then press OK/Yes.
4. If the codes were entered successfully, the phone is ready for use.

If the incorrect PUK code is entered 10 times in a row, the SIM card becomes permanently locked and a new SIM card must be purchased. If the device is requesting PUK2, call Customer Care at 800-331-0500.

You enter any four digit pin on the tablet and when it attempts to pair with the keyboard, enter the same pin with the keyboard and press 'enter'. You'll be typing blind so it would be relatively easy to make a mistake and have to try again. My recent experience with the keyboard shows it to be a bit sensitive (or perhaps I'm too heavy-handed for a mini).

I know it's been a month, but I just purchased the same tablet and keyboard today and found this solution only moments ago. I do hope you still have it. Even as a paperweight. :)

First you have to turn the blue tooth power to 'on' on your phone then you need to turn the power 'on' on the device,then you will need to pair the device to the phone,in your menu of your phone you should find a blue tooth option,there usually is a add new device or search first you must put your device into discovery mode usually when you turn on you bt device you just hold the power button on for 6 to 10 seconds and a solid light appears.now your bt device is in discovery mode,then on your phone you have to search or add new device if you put your bt device into pairing mode your phone will find it and then it will ask you for a pairin or pin code ,Most manufactures use a 4 digit pin code they are as follow 0000,1234,9999,or 1111 when it asks you for the code enter one of these and then the device should pair to the phone i hope this helps you

You choose your own code. It's a keyboard right? So it has numbers on it...and an Enter key.
1. Press and hold in the small button next to Bluetooth symbol under the keyboard for 5 seconds. The charge indicator lights at the top of the keyboard should alternate flashing red then green.
2. Search for Bluetooth devices on the devices you wish to connect the keyboard to. The Keyboard should be listed there.
3. Enter a code of your choice into the device you are paring the keyboard to and submit it. I used a 4 digit number which worked without a problem.
4. Type the same code and press Enter on the Microsoft Wireless Entertainment Desktop 8000 Keyboard.
The keyboard should now be paired with your device.

Whenever you connect your bluetooth (BT) headset to a BT device:

1. Set the BT device to search for other devices.
2. While the BT device is searching and the BT headset is off, press and hold the call/end button on the BT headset until it's light is constantly lit and the BT device finds it.
3. Enter passkey 0000 when asked.
   

look for a little hole on the keyboard, the button is the size of a pin head, it is for resetting the keyboard after you put in a new battery. when you find the reset switch the keyboard light will work and the startup bar will show it has found a new device.

The first thing to do when you have a hardware problem is always to go to Device Manager :Start>My Computor{left klick on My Computor}>Properties>Hardware>Device Manager.In the drop down,find your device that is giving you problems.Double klick on the device and see what Windows says about it ,whether it needs drivers or has a physical problem.Your USB adaptor seem to be working OK since it is oscillating ,meaning that it is searching for the Keyboard transmission to lock on.This means that you have loaded the correct driver software for the usb device.I suspect that your problem is with the Keyboard power-make sure you have installed the batteries correctly{polarity check}When all is working properly,you should find the keyboard listed under Keyboards in Device Manager.Double klick on it to see if it is working properly.Your USB device should appear under USB Controllers.Regards
