You get this error if you set up through the browser window instead of the CD software. To fix change your language in the user preferences to another language, save and then change back to english.

I have a HKC notepad and cnt get he and sign to come up

To type the "and" symbol "&" on your HKC notepad, you can try pressing the "Shift" key and the number "7" key simultaneously.
If this doesn't work, you can try using the on-screen keyboard. To access the on-screen keyboard in Windows 10, click on the Windows icon in the bottom left corner of the screen, then select "Settings" > "Ease of Access" > "Keyboard" and turn on the toggle for "On-Screen Keyboard". Once the on-screen keyboard appears, you can use your mouse or touchpad to click on the "&" symbol.
If you're still having trouble, you can try changing the language and keyboard settings on your device. To do this, go to "Settings" > "Time & Language" > "Language" and choose the language you want to use. Then go to "Region & language" and select the appropriate keyboard layout for that language. Once you have made these changes, try typing the "&" symbol again using the methods mentioned above.

I have an hp laptop and i need to change the language from spanish to english help

I am assuming that your current language is spanish, so we're going through with the logo, not the writings.

1. Click on the windows logo
2. Click on the 4th (from bottom) option on the right menu. (at this part, there might be difference from one version of windows to another but, if you're a moderate user, you'll now the 'usual' control panel looked like. You can try and error in this part)
3. You'll see a globe with clock (here is the control panel menu for language, region and clock. Click the lowermost link)
4. By default, you windows should bring you to the language menu in the lowermost link. Just access the drop-down list in the newly popped up windows to access the language menu.
5. CHoose english and viola! it's back to normal.

I have windows 7 and its in japanese, how can i change it to english?

you could try installing an english language pack, but it will only change the major parts of the windows 7 O.S. not everything, This feature is only available in Windows 7 Enterprise and Ultimate. You can download these language packs via Windows Update. Google works as well. The hard part is installing them, which is outlined in the walkthrough below: Installing the Language Pack:
Start off by accessing the Control Panel through the Start Menu
Then select Change Display Challenge under the Clock, Language, and Region Box. If you're in Classic View, select Regional and Language Options.

controlpaneloption.jpg

Make sure you're on the "Keyboards and Languages" tab and click on Install/Uninstall Languages

installlang.jpg Select the 2nd option and Browse to your DVD drive or where you had previously extracted the ISO. You only need to navigate to the directory in which the language pack is in. For some reason, the ISO doesn't show up as a selectable option. (Microsoft may offer these language packs as optional updates in the near future.)

browse.jpg Click Open and Windows will automatically find the language pack. Accept the EULA and Install the Language Pack. This can take quite a while. Once you're done, you'll be asked if you want to switch to the installed language pack. Whenever you switch language packs, you will have to log off and log back in for the changes to take into effect. In the future when you want to change language packs that have already been installed, head back to the "Keyboards and Languages" tab under Regional and Language Options and you should be able to select from a menu of different language packs. Just want to note that Windows 7 Beta actually switched to my new language pack without me having to log off even though it had asked me to.

I have a Samsung U520 and I accidentally activated NAM2. Now my phone does not work. When I try to deactivate NAM2 it asks for a password. Can you help? It needs a 4 digit code. It also states Initial...

hi sir have you done restore factory settings firstThe Nokia 2160 series hand portable CMT uses an EEPROM NAM that can be programmed directly from the standard user keypad. In order to access the
NAM, you must enter the special access code currently programmed into the
phone. Once the programming mode is accessed, NAM parameters are loaded
by entering them into the display and "storing" them to selected memory
locations. Be sure to obtain all parameters before proceeding.

    EASY NAM PROGRAMMING

    1. Turn on phone.

    2. Enter the Easy NAM access code. Access code is: *#639#

    3. Verify the display now reads "Cellular Number" and enter the 10 digit
    MIN for the phone.

    4. Press the softkey under the word "OK" in the display. If less than 10
digits are entered an error message will prompt you to reenter the
    number.

    5. Verify the display reads "Enter code" and enter the five digit SID
followed by four zeros. (Example 001750000 is a SID of 175 followed
by four zeros). An error message will display if an incorrect entry
is made. Do not add more than four zeros to the code.

Note: Change the Lock code by adding a pound sign and new lock code after
the code. (Example: 001750000#7788. Lock code = 7788).

Change the Language code by adding a pound sign (#) and new
language code after the code. (Example: 001750000#2. Language = 2)

    Language Code: 0 (default) = English, 1 = French, 2 = Spanish,
    3 = Portuguese

Change the Lock code and Language code by separating each set of
numbers by a pound sign. (Example: 001750000#7788#2). The SID =
    00175, Lock code = 7788, Language = 2 (Spanish).

    6. Press the softkey under the word "OK" in the display.

    7. The display will tell you t
