Jabra BT530 won't pair with my Blackberry. I have entered the 0000 as the pin but it continues to say it has failed. Please advise. [email protected]

Hi there, You need to pair the two devices. Make sure the cruiser is off, then push and hold the power button the Jabra for 8-10 seconds until it is in pairing mode. You need to continue holding the button after the device has powered on until you get there. Once there, on BlackBerry go to Bluetooth settings and select search for a device. Select the Jabra Cruiser and put in the passkey - 0000. You have now paired the two devices! Alex

You do need the passcode. It should "auto pair" but the default passkey or pin is 0000 (4 zeros.)

Headset Pairing Readiness Instructions:

1. Fully charge headset for two hours.

2. The headset will automatically go into pairing mode if no device has

been previously paired.

3. Set your mobile phone to 'discover Jabra VBT185Z'.
4. Enter passkey or PIN = 0000 (4 zeros), then press Yes or OK.

not a radio communications issue

default PIN is 0000... be sure to turn on BT on your phone first, then power on your jabra... your phone should ask to pair to the jabra and then you enter the 0000

You have to first put the Headset into discoverable mode. According to the Jabra website, this is done by pressing and holding the end/mute button until the light comes on steady. Follow the procedure for your phone to pair a bluetooth device to it. The PIN code will be 0000.

Press and hold the center round on/off button for 10 seconds to put Jabra BT2050 into pairing mode. Type in pin "0000" when the BlackBerry 8520 detected the bluetooth headset, then the two should be paired. Hope this help.

Hi terry, first thing to do is,

• make sure the headset is off.
• press and hold the answer/end button until a solid blue light comes on.
• go to your phones settings turn on the bluetooth.
• select the option on your phone to discover or add a bluetooth device.
• your phone should discover the jabra bt350.
• your phone will then ask you if you want to pair with this device.
• accept by pressing ok or yes.
• confirm with the pass key or pin = 0000

Jabra VBT2050 - You have to hold the round button in until the light stays lit (about 20 seconds) this will put it in discoverable mode, the pin is 0000, I have AT@T service and it works just fine. Hope this helps out!

To make this complete: You need to turn off the headset (hold call button several seconds until it makes descending tone). Then hold button to turn on and keep holding 8 seconds more until blue light is on solid. Then initiate pairing at phone, and enter 0000 as the code.
