I have a canon eos rebel xs and when i take a picture the picture i am taking is not shown on the display screen like other camera can do, is there any way i can change this? i love my camera but i want to see my pictures on the display screen as i take them

Do you mean you want to see the picture on the lcd screen before you take it like a point and shoot camera can do? For that, you need a camera with "live view" and your camera does not have it.
