Open a browser and type 192.168.1.1 into the address bar. This will link you directly to the router. A login and password screen should be displayed. The default user is admin with the password admin or a blank password depending on the release date. If you have changed this it will differ.
Once in the router menu, select the wireless tab and then the wireless security tab. This gives you options to secure. Select either wep or wpa and enter a passkey in which you want to use as you password. Write this down as it will be necessary to get on your network again.
Click save and connect once again to your network now using the wep or wpa code.

How can i disable my security on ignition/

The security, antitheft or lock picture/icon is a visual indication that something in the car's antitheft system is failing. In most GM cars and trucks there is a hidden system that most people are unaware even exists. From the moment you put your key in the ignition, there begins a constant line of communication between your key's security chip or transponder, to the ignition's lock cylinder, and then to the car's TDM (Theft Deterrent Module). These 3 parts are in CONSTANT communication. If the key is in the ignition, then these parts are sending signals to each other. The security light illuminates when that signal gets broken, even just for a second. When the signal breaks, the car misinterprets this as an attempt at theft and goes into antitheft mode. The car thinks its being stolen or hotwired because it is not getting that signal from YOUR specific key. This is why the security light turns on and shuts down your vehicle. This link explains it pretty well.

Turn off alarm without key fob

First off, you need to know the PIN.
Setting the PIN is as follows:

Think of a five-digit PIN, and write it down. Think of this set of numbers as a password for starting your bike and disabling the alarm during those times when you don't have your fob.
Turn the ignition key on, then off, then on, then off, then on again. Then press the left turn-signal switch twice. Press the right turn-signal switch once, and the current PIN should appear in your odometer.
Be sure the first digit of the PIN is flashing. Enter the first digit of your new PIN by pressing the left turn signal to cycle through the numbers.
Press the right turn signal once to switch to the second digit, and select the correct number with the left turn signal. Repeat this process until your new PIN is entered correctly.
Press the right turn signal once, then turn the ignition key off to save the PIN you selected.

Now, how to disable:

Let's assume for simplicity that your code is set at 31313 and you wish to use the manual disarm of the security system using the directional switches as if you lost your fob and cannot disarm the system.

Your security system will disarm the bike and it cannot be started without deactivating the system first.

If you are unsure of what the manual code is refer to the top of this page or check with your dealer and set one if it has not been set by them.

Again this is based on your code being 31313 just to make it easier to understand.

1. Turn the ignition to Accessory.

2. Press both turn signals. (security light should flash rapidly)

3. Press left turn signal button 3 times (the 1st "3" of the PIN). Press right turn signal button 1 time (to "set" the code number).

4. Press left turn signal button 1 time (2nd number of PIN). Press right turn signal button 1 time.

5. Press left turn signal button 3 times. Press right turn signal button 1 time.

6. Press left turn signal button 1 time. Press right turn signal button 1 time.

7. Press left turn signal button 3 times. Press right turn signal button 1 time.

Security light stops flashing and security system is disarmed.

If you've changed the number, use your new number instead of 31313.

I have a 2002 chevy trailblazer lt and my security light stays on... would a new battery fix this if not what would?

The issue with the security light is more of a communication problem. The key has a transponder in the plastic head. This sends a signal to the ignion/lock cylinder. The ignition reads this signal, converts it to another signal and sends it down the line to the TDM (Theft Deterrent Module). The TDM is the main brain of the security system. If it gets the correct signal and everything is working properly, it will do its job just fine and allow the starter to start and the injectors to pulse like normal. If there is ANY break in the system ANYWHERE, then the TDM cant send the signal and the vehicle shuts down with no notice except the SECURITY light. Here is a site i found on the subject. Pretty informative.
