Any fax is capable of sending international faxes. You just need to make sure you have the correct dialing info, like the country and city codes which depends on where your dialing to.

Sending a fax to another county is easy - almost as easy as sending a fax to someone in your own country. The only difference is the phone number that you'll dial.
When sending a fax from one U.S. city to another, you dial a 1, then the area code, then the seven-digit phone number. When sending a fax from the U.S. to another country, you usually dial 011, then the country code, then a city code (which is like an area code), then the phone number. (The phone number isn't necessarily seven digits.) Check out the web site www.HowToCall.info, which will give you the specific country and city codes for the place that you're trying to send a fax to.
Other than figuring out the phone number, faxing internationally is identical to faxing domestically. Fax machines in other countries use the same protocols as ones in the United States, so you should have no difficulty communicating with a foreign fax machine. Older fax machines and noisy overseas phone lines may cause the transmission to take a bit longer than you're used to, but it should get there.
The first time you send a fax to another country, it might be a good idea to listen in as the fax machine dials. On some fax machines, you can press the "Dial" button to hear the dial tone, and dial the number manually. Listen for the ring and fax tone, then press the Start button to send the fax. You might want to do this the first time you send a fax overseas, just to make sure it's working as expected.

Your roll over system is sending calls to the first line in the sequence and it does not differentiate between voice and fax. You will have to change the roll over so it does not send calls to your fax line. Your internal phone system may still use the fax line for outgoing faxes and voice calls but incoming fax calls have to be sent to the line the fax is on.

Plug a phone into this outlet and see if you get a dial tone. If you do not you will have to call the phone company. If you can use a phone at that outlet but not your fax, then you know that the power surge that came when the power turned back on damaged a fuse in your machine. Joe

you need an international phone service and dialing capability on your phone, the country code for Australia is 61 so you would dial:-

011-61- Y- xxxxxxxx where 011 is international code from USA, 61 is country code Y is area code and xxxxx is fax number.

Just dial the number as sending a local fax

1. Yes, very much possible. Any PC, laptop, desktop, mobile phones. What you will need is no.1 the Internet connection and 3rd party application to do the job for you. I am currently using pFingo.

2. Send fax at about 15cents per 5secs of fax internationally.
3. Call internationally at about .02 cents in USD per minute all around the world.

Once I had a problem with Ethernet auto negotiation, fax-es and AS5300. all links in fax IP path had to be set to fixed configuration (ex. 100 Mbps full-duplex).

Cisco equipment could not autonegotiate link speed by itself (VG248, C3550 and AS5350), so it tried every few seconds to re-negotiate ethernet link speed, and those extra packets broke fax transmision over IP. Voice worked OK, at the same time.

For an internal fax, just dial the other fax machine's extension.
