32" Polaroid flat screen. Have audio but video

Try changing the input device to something you are sure, works such as a DVD player. Switch off TV manually, switch off power, remove plug and retry after 48 hours.

If problem persists, please refer it to a qualified service technician.

My polaroid FLM3234B plays for a while and suddenly the picture goes black, everything else still works, audio, channel changes, etc. Any ideas?

Either your inverter boards are failing or power supply board has flawed capacitors. If you can open the back cover and send me a pic of the TV with the back removed I can show you what parts to change its not that hard at all, you will need a soldering iron. you can get one from radioshack. Hook up Avertec 3200 to Sharp Aqueous TV

After I found the manual somewhere on the internet, I realized that it is already available here. (Lucky you!)

I could not find a specific manual for your Aquos TV (which model?). Look into your manual, and see if there is an option to connect via VGA of HDMI for video
If you want to use your TV speakers, it depends what audio input options you have on your TV. You might need a cable like this:

The red/white connectors into your TV, the 2.5mm plug into your computer.

Polaroid 3200

The newer technology has design issues due to the confined space where all the components are and not well ventilated. A good number of LCDs failed due to overheated components, specially in the power supply circuitry; once this parts become dry or leaking the LCD will fail to power up.
It seems like the power supply is defective on your LCD. Replacing or repairing it should fix your power up problems.

Let me know if you need further assistance.
