Are you referring to the water valve assembly? If so, you can purchase a new assembly. Check with a parts distributor. You will need the brand and model number.

Unplug the washer. Turn off the water supply (hot and cold) to the washer and disconnect the hoses at the washer (there is no need to disconnect the hoses at the wall). Make certain that you replace the hoses correctly on the new water valve with corresponding hot and cold hoses coming from the wall. Disconnect the wire harnesses to each temperature (hot and cold) on the water valve. The harnesses should be color-coded. Replace them correctly on the new valve. Turn the water supply back on and plug in the washer. Run a small water level while testing different temperatures (hot, cold and warm). Check for water leaks and proper temperature.

Is the washer a cold or hot water fill?

I think only cold water is enough. The washer machine will warm up the water.

Need to remove and replace electronic water valve

First off unplug washer.
Turn water off hot and cold.
Disconnect water lines from valve.
Remove screws from top panel on washer then slide top panel off.
Remove connections on valve. Make mental note for what goes where. ;)
Remove valve.
Install new valve.
Connect wires.
Put panel back on and screws back in.
Connect water lines hot for hot and cold for cold.
Turn water on and check for leaks around connections.
Plug washer in.
Run a load!
Hope this helps.

Dont pull the water selenoide good fus gud

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
This is symptomatic of a malfunctioning water control valve- the hot water one, if the washer is hot and cold fill, and the cold one if it is just cold fill!
Sorry but it needs replacing and a service call to confirm that it is not something else ;-0(
Good luck,

Washer has hot and cold inlet but I only a have cold water suply

What you need is a fitting called a (Y) piece.
This is usually available from any good hardware store such as B&Q, and the like.
It allows you connect the hot and cold hoses to the 2 legs of the fitting, and then connect your 2 hoses to the washer.
The straight leg of the fitting then connects to your cild water inlet supply.
This will give you a feed to both inlet valves on washer.

Only takes on cold water will not take on hot when you disconnect pipe hot water runs through so supply is ok

If it is a hot and cold fill washer with 2 seperate inlet hoses, and no hot is entering, then either the hot inlet valve is faulty, or the valve is not getting an electric feed to it.
Make sure that the programme you select is ahot prog, as many of the programmes are3 cold fill only.

Reinstalling a washer and dryer and i know which line is hot and which one is cold coming out of the washer ing machine but i dont know which line is hot and which is cold when hooking it back up the the...

If the pipes were installed properly, then the hot is on the left, cold on right.

Hook it up that way, then set it on the smallest load possible, with hot water setting only. If you have hot water filling the basin, you have it hooked up properly.
