My hp dv 2010 dont turn on. Only blue lights. No HD, no sound, no screen. ¿¿¿¿¿¿¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡!!!!!!!!!!??????

all DV laptops had CCFL lamps, 90% did
no model told DV7-nnnnnn , no nnnnnn told. so no answers specific possible.
not turn on rules and steps all PCs like this.
here we go, again.

1. remove huge battery first, run on AC power. only(even for ever)
2. hold power button for 10 full seconds and release , goal 1 is HP splash screen and BIOS screens all work next.
3. if screen is still dead, and no fans ? and no beeps and no flash codes on LED, then shine a flash light to the screen in a dim room and if you see data of any kind turned on, that means CCFL lamps are dead as 99% are now.

DV7 list huge these are series, and vast others. 2010 and older have dead CCFL lamps all DV made. series 2up is LED not CCFL.
DV1 to 6 are CCLF.
DV7 is end of the series line. at ,
the bottom sticker on PC will have the real model there ,dash bla-bla.

hello,my hp pavilion dv 6000 is giving me problem no sound, no bio-sserial number, even sometimes blue screen..

If you just want to format the hd the are some options
1 - remove it & attach it to another pc as an external hd via hd usb adapter, shell then format
2 - boot via bootable usb flash, cd, dv, fd with utility files then format

if more than format, clarify

Perform the steps below :

1. disconect the ac adapter and remove the battery from the notebook.
2. press and hold the power button for 30 seconds
3. replace the battery and connect the ac adapter
4. Turn On the notebook

If the issue persists then reseat the memory modules of the notebook and check

This should resolve the issue

However, if the issue persists then it could be a hardware issue. Your notebook needs to be serviced

Just one thought that's all! Is the motherboard compatible with Windows 7? If it's not you need to upgrade it, which is why many of us have not got Windows 7! IE: Me!

these is small hv board circuit, inside lcd is defective, needs to be replaced. send to repair.

If the orange "activity" light for the HD is not active at all, I would say it's either a HD failure or the ribbon that connects the HD has failed or come loose.

have u changed he batteries , that may help an dont use the cheep ones from the buck store they dont enough engery to turn the whole thing on.
