The draining cycle remaining on is an indication that the anti flood sysyem (polystireen float / micro switch) at the bottom has been activated via a water leak. This anti flood system puts the pump motor on and shuts the inlet water. Dry the water at the base / find the leak or blocked pipe causing the water and this should rectify your problem.

Hi.

If the machine is filling up, then cycling and draining, the problem is usually the belt. The belt is reached disassembling the appliance . If the belt is OK the problem is usually the motor or the motor control unit, which is a sealed electronic module connected to motor and to control board and located inside the washer. If the motor has volts and does not turn, then the motor must be replaced. In some less common case the control module itself may be responsible. Motor assembly and belt are located at the back of the drum and get accessed disassembling top and back of the washing machine.

If the machine does not go through the cycle, but it starts draining from start, then the problem is overfill detected. In that case check the drain system, the drain hose, the inlet valve and the pressure switch.

Regards.

Hello,
I don't believe that a service manual exist i have included a image of the parts breakdown for the pump asm. and while taking look at it i believe the the drain solonoid is hanging up,or the drain flapper in the pump asm is hanging open The solonoid is shown is that image as item #5 it connects to the drain flapper shaft item #13 and the actual flapper is number is item #34 and has a sping thats suppose to close it item #35
one of those is staying open not allowing the water to stay in tub on wash cycle

Water is staying in the bottom

Water staying in bottom is not a problem unless the dishwasher base is full of it and covers the wash arm.

This means the drain cycle is not working or dishwasher is shutting off before drain cycle.

Try to clean the filters at the base and check drain in kitchen sink side is clear.

Need the model number in case you want more specific instructions.
