Where is the ground ******** the underneath located

Chassis ground? I have used redundant grounds on many automotive systems, so far no problems. I've seen them from firewall to engine block. I have heard of them being down around motor mounts. The point is, I don't believe it matters where you put it. I don't know where the factory ground point is located? Just my opinion.

I'm just guessing: You may have a bad ABS Sensor. since you mentioned TRACTION Control. Traction Control controls the vehicle while it is in motion but a faulty or failing ABS Sensor could interfere with your traction Sensorbe the cause of your worries. Hope its a good guess!

I have a 1998 Oldsmobile Aurora my taglights dont

The 1998 Aurora has 2 fusebox locations...a larger fusebox under the passenger side of the hood, (unscrew the large turnhandle in the center of the box to open) which contains the larger fuses, a fuse puller, and the relays. There is also a fusebox on the interior of the passenger side...open the passenger door all the way up, and look at the side of the console panel, between the glovebox and the door. There should be a "finger hole" for you to pull open. It may be VERY hard to get open; mine is. Here you will find the smaller fuses. A diagram of the contents are on the inside of both lids.
Thank you for using fixya and good luck.

Tail lights, parking lights and dash lights not working

If signal lights are working, probably a failing headlight switch. Even though fuses seem OK, you can try replacing the appropriate fuse.

I have a 1998 Oldsmobile Aurora. The brake pedal

Yes you have a broken line or bad master cylinder leak or seal depending on where you find the leak. Do not attempt to drive the car until you fix this because you will not be able to stop the car. In addition, after you repair the line you will need to bleed the air from the brake system before driving the car. Hope this helps.

I need to find the motor ID number on my 1998 Oldsmobile Aurora

Depends on which engine you have - it is not usually easy to find or get at while the engine is in the car. You should be able to get the info at a dealer using the VIN number of the vehicle.
