Can I reset the EEPROM of a canon print head?

Reset Procedures for Canon i550, i560, i850, i860, i865, i9100, i9950 Printers

Turn off Canon i550, i560, i850, i860, i865, i9100, i9950 Printers
Hold down Resume button and press Power button.
Keep holding down Power button and let Resume button go.
Press Resume button 2 times then let BOTH buttons go.
Green lights will flash and then stop blinking.
When green lights are solid, press the Resume button 4 times.
Press the Power button and the printer should turn off, if not, press the Power button once more.
Your Canon i550, i560, i850, i860, i865, i9100, i9950 Printers should respond as normal.

I have got Canon i560 printer but not recieving print order the software is loaded what is the solution ?

Try i560 Reset Procedures for Canon i550, i560, i850, i860, i865, i9100, i9950 Printers

Turn off Canon i550, i560, i850, i860, i865, i9100, i9950 Printers

2 presses - green - EEPROM initialize
3 presses - orange - Reset waste ink counter

Canon i850 won't print after replacing (black and blue/cyan) ink cartridges. GenericClass: waiting for device. On light flashes 7 short yellow flashes between one long green flash. Help!

Canon i850 not printing

7 times means your waste ink absorber is full, time to let a shop replace the absorbers and reset the counter to clear the error.

Print head problems 7 yellow lights 1 green light, how do I fix

That's not a printhead problem, it's saying that the waste ink absorber is full. You need to have them replaced at a shop where they can also reset the waste ink counter.

Try this see if work for you.

Canon S9000, S300, S400, i550, i560, i850, i860, i865, i9100, i9950, PIXMA iP3000 above,
1. Turn off printer
2. Hold down Resume button and press Power button.
3. Keep holding down Power button and let Resume button go.
4. Press Resume button 2 times then let BOTH buttons go.
5. Green lights will flash and then stop blinking.
6. When green lights are solid, press the Resume button 4 times.
7. Press the Power button and the printer should turn off, if not, press the Power button once more.
8. Your printer should respond as normal.

Thank you! Was blinking orange 7 times. Removed two small ink filters on right inside of printer with Tweezers, cleaned them with hot water & joy dishwashing soap, did the reset outlined above & everything works. Saved me from buying a new printer!
