I have upgraded to W7 system, can't get to HP photo print softwar

IN never came with w10 from, HP ever.
facts.
ok, HP told you not to use W10 , HP does not support w10 on this PC, now you can but some things will be dead.
I can list them all but will not now.

you installed W7 from whom and what, ? MS disks or HP?
you installed w10 from whom? not HP but was MS, so was a fresh install or upgrade install, I cant guess or see what you did, not ever.
why not just run w7 and not upgrade, so HP will give you full support , why not?

head set, so does that mean , 3.5mm phone jacks dead
or are those USB head sets. we cant guess that either.
USB phones will cause chaos if not set up manually, ask.

I own many 8540w, laptops.
all run W10 but I had to get the drivers to all dead chip from the chip maker, HP does not have them, because they dont support w10 here, nor do the security software work at all ever, there.
and more, the speaker control panel buttons are dead too...
until i fixed that panel, with a HP w7 force fed driver.
this pc came with XP ,vista or w7 , 32 and 64bit.
so what did you load, 32 or 64 bit, i cant guess that either.

3.5mm dead, but not internal speakers,
so load this HP driver, off your official HP page.

this driver is certified on w7 only.
so if it dont work then we go the chip makers site
for a newer driver,

it must be a 4 way match.

reset what?, there are vast numbers of resets.
avoid that word, its meaningless.... (my DISKTOP even has reset button, see?)
The word reset can also mean reset a working w7 back to defaults.
(we can talk resets all day. )

did you mean now to reload W7 ? fresh..

1: if the PC is newer, say under 10 years old; is it?
the F11 key at power on runs the free install virtual disks off the HDD. (the real PH site covers all that, need a link?)

2: was unstated PC , day 1 , with W7 or not?
if not .its a upgrade or down grade, say which now if either.

3: w7 over w7 is a refresh or full install.
There are only 2 (3 counting microsoft)
A: F11 magic key , only works if original HDD is ok and not replaced..
B: the HP media kit. you buy them and install it from HP.
it can be CD/DVDs or memory stick installs.
C: ms disks. or sticks or ISO files. all will be missing HP drivers and HP apps. this is last resort can be a lost day of pain, (ask)

2011 CPU runs w10, mostly. a sandybridge CPU,
HP.com only supports w7 and w8 on this PC
so you put your faith in MS that w10 works good luck with that.

run he free online upgrade? or just what,

make DVD disk upgrade.'
make thrum drive 16GB upgrade.
or fresh load the OS not upgraded but fresh loaded.

You need an updated printer driver for W7. Go to the below URL site and down load the appropriate driver for your system. Be sure you select the W7 operiting system.

Sony has yet to support Windows 7 on the VAIO VGC-RB42G. I would strongly suggest not to try to install W7 on that machine. Sony is a _very_ proprietary equipment. There is a very good chance that you won't be able to obtain the neccessary drivers nor W7 having the correct drivers available. Generic drivers don't usually work on Sony equipment and vice versa. That said, the first step to upgrading any computer to W7 is to run the upgrade advisor:

The next step, especially for a Sony is to visit the website and check for software upgrades and possible BIOS upgrades that are needed _before_ installing W7. In your case I would contact them directly.

Be sure to back up all your data. Copy it to CD's, DVD's, an external hard drive, or a flash drive, or another internal hard drive.

first off , what OS are you running, what operating system.
and does the camera show up in device manager.
is the Camera driver loaded. there.
this LT came new with XP, VISTA or W7, during it production run
what did yours come with,
2nd did you change this,? did you upgrade it, did you do the w7 to W10 free upgrade last year, non of this is known here.
and matters first. this.
so lets say its W7 then and now.... ok.
here are the 2 steps to camera
1: make sure its not turned off in BIOS screens.
2: then in w7 click control panel
2b: click Device manger.
2c: click imaging devices or webcam ,etc.
2d: right click this, device, and pick update,,,, be on line or it fails.

if its missing that means some one changed the OS.
and did it all wrong, not using the HP driver, disk or getting them from HP.

go to HP there and find yours, matching OS.

Try downloading the vista driver, there is a 95% chance it will work on W7.

you would need w7 camera driver.Being an older model i doubt you will find them .

upgrade, but is it a real MS, retail disk.

The COA sticker on the bottom (license to use HP windows)
is a HP only license , called OEM.

best is to reload the OS.

if the PC was not slammed by others.
means someone put wrong OS on it. or pirated.
or new HDD swapped, or erased hdd.
then the F11 key works.
Restore F11, XP and then upgrade to W7.
Upgrages btw love to fail, its in the CARDS.

XP has over 700 exploits, and love to fail
and upgrades as SIDE show fail.

boot the PC by power on and instantly hammer the F11 key the runs the HP Recovery off the original
HP Hard disk partition of same name.

if that is missing F11 feature.
then you have 2 choices
1: get the HP install media from HP. call them.
2; or buy a retail MS windows 7 disk. $120

better is to buy a used PC with w7 on it
so you get HP support and MS support.

Quite possibly the printer driver software is not compatible with W7. You could have a look on the web on the Epson site under 'Support' and see whethee Epson have a driver for the 360 under W7.
