Stopped printing yellow
Out of yellow ink?
If your ink is full, then you most likely have a dried up yellow ink path or the sponge at the bottom of the printer is full and preventing ink to pass through to the paper. Chances are, you are plugged up and need a new printer - HP is water based and if not used on a constant bases, the ink will dry and cause clogging. PRINT INK CARTRIDGE ALIGNMENT FAILED HP C6280
Hi,If the alignment failed on HP Photosmart C6280, Try to check if any of the cartridges are low on ink. if so replace them and try to re-alignIf that is not the issue, Remove the Cartridges from the printer and clean the contacts with lint free cloth and put them back in. The printer should go thru auto - alignment..If this fails too, Press Cancel button on printer and Press the Menu button ( setup button ) and scroll to Tools menu - Press OK - Under tools option you will find Clean Cartridges - Press OK.If this process too does not fix the issue, mostly likely your printer has gone bad. It needs replacement. The best i can suggest you will be to Call HP support - 1-800-474-6836 and check best deal they can offer you on upgrade printer.Regards,Suhail

Ink system has failed unabel to print refer to
Reset the system by holding down the OK, Cancel, Black, and Color buttons down at the same time and turn the printer off. Keep holding the buttons down until the printer shuts off and then turn it back on. You will have to turn the printer off twice and then it will recalibrate
