I've changed the ink and still showing check ink tank

The "ink tank" can be compared to a garbage-basket -- excess ink from the ink-jets collects in that tank. When the garbage-basket, or the tank, is full, you must empty it. Changing the ink-cartridges (putting more food into the refrigerator) does not empty the ink-tank (garbage-basket).

Canon BJC- 1000 LPT 1 printer. STATUS: the used ink tank is full. printer not performing.

HI,

Your printer has a built-in waste ink tank for the ink used during print head cleaning. As time goes by, the waste ink tank gradually fills. When the waste ink tank is nearly full, you should receive a "Waste ink warning" error when you print. Press the RESUME button on the printer to cancel the error so you can continue printing. Before the waste ink tank becomes completely full, have the waste ink tank replaced.

Full tank so what can i do

> full tank, so what can I do?

Are you saying that the ink-cartridges in your printer are full, and that your ink-jet printer is still not printing?

If so, use the software that came with the printer, to run a "print-head-cleaning" cycle,
to "unclog" the ink-jets that pull ink from the tank and shoot the ink onto the paper.

Status Monitor informs of Ink levels requiring me to press resume button during and after each print job.

What it means is the tank to collect waste ink (from cleaning etc) is full.
Canon suggest you return ther printer for replacement of the absorbant mat, suggest you scour the web for DIY cures.

Printer not printing

Try a new tank, there are more and more people getting bad ink tanks. HOWEVER if it is a printer that has seperate heads you might have to change it.

Canon muti-pass MP360 INK TANK FULL

I believe what you are seeing is "WASTE INK TANK FULL"? This means that the tank that collects the waste ink from cleaning the head is full. You can read more than you ever want to know on this subject on the following link: http://www.fixyourownprinter.com/forums/printer/38697#1 These are the steps to clear the message by reseting the counter: 1)Printer on, press Additional Functions, Scan, Copy, Scan Now you should be in service mode from there for waste ink tank reset 2)Select Test mode which is like the last available selection 3)Select #8 Printer Test, it will do something here like cleaning or something then it will come up with some other options this is where it gets a bit confusing cause now all it says is like 8-2 or 8-3 push the + or - button until it says 8-3 then hit the select button The menu will now say EEPROM Clear Select Ink count which is option (0) and press set Your done!
