Lost instruction booklet need to know how to load and start cd-rom program so I can put the pictures into the computer

do you know how to go to setup section as computer opens?

Some computers you press DEL key others F2 others F10
when computer is just starting.


go there and confirm the disk is visible to hardware.

In the same location ensure you can see cd/dvd ROM

in the same location make the cd/dvd ROM to be first when starting up computer.

save changes if need be.

put your cd/dvd ROM with starter operation system (assuming windows)
and load your computer.

Well before you can put tracks from a cd unto this mp3 player, you need to have certain programs.
You can have a program like windows media player and when you insert the cd into you cd rom, all you have to do is to rip or copy out the songs from the cd to your computer hard disk.
Make sure you do not copy them from my computer as they would be affected files.
After copying, you can now locate the songs under your music files and copy to your walkman.

Consider NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program, such as Picasa ( http://picasa.google.com ).

Need a external CD ROM...
1. Download and burn Ophcrack (freeware).
2. Burn ISO file to a disk.
3. Attach external CD ROM to S10 computer
4. Load the disk with the ISO file in the external CD ROM
5. Turn the S10 on and tap F12 a few times on the Lenovo Screen.
6. Select Boot using CD/DVD ROM
7. Wait for the program to completely load until it shows you a picture with your password on it.

If this solution does not work,
1. Turn off your computer (no flashing lights)
2. Press the Lenovo Care Button (aka One Key Recovery, button with an upside down arrow on it)
3. Select System Recovery.
4. Recovery from factory default settings.

you got the cd that one comes with the computer so just boot it in cd rom and restart the computer or
you start and all program then system restore is like program in the computer and just run it

If your computer is operating with WINDOWS 95, WINDOWS 98, or WINDOWS NT 4.0 Systems, this CD contains software that automatically launches when you insert the CD. Getting Started:

If nothing happens after waiting for the Auto Play, you may need to manually start the Auto Play program. (Auto Play is a program that starts up the CD installation process the first time you use the CD.)
To manually start Auto Play:

1. Right-click the My Computer icon.
   
2. Select Properties from the pop-up menu.
   
3. Click the Device Manager tab.
   
4. Click the CD-ROM drive icon; click the "+" to view the CD-ROM drive information.
   
5. Double-click the CD-ROM driver icon.
   
6. Select Properties from the pop-up menu.
   
7. Click Settings.
   
8. Check Auto insert notification and click OK.
   

Note: This enables all CDs to automatically run any Auto Play software.

Does your computer have enough memory and all the requirements to run the software?

You may want to make sure you have the latest service pack from Microsoft for Windows ME.

After you know these are up-to-date, then start from the beginning. Turn off everything wait a few minutes and then turn on the computer. Wait for Start Up programs to load. Then follow instructions in Owners Manual for loading FinePixViewer.

I just read on another website that the program "Pinnacle CD/DVD Suite" is the problem. It gets installed along with Wordperfect and it needs to be un-installed. I had the same problem with the 2 pop-ups and then when I tried to put in a cd with pictures on it, my computer crashed. I have just un-installed the Pinnacle CD/DVD Suite on my computer and the messages are gone and I can run cd's again!!

Sounds like your CD ROM drive is bad. Go the following link, click on your operating system and download the latest driver directly from Lexmark. http://www.downloaddelivery.com/en/cpddrivers/346.html Once it is saved, double click on the file and follow the on screen instructions.
