  2. Press 3 or use the arrow keys to scroll to Print Report , and then press the Enter button.
  3. Press 5 or use the arrow keys to scroll to Print Report , and then press the Enter button. The self-test page prints.
Method two: Print a self-test page from the computer
  1. Click Start and click Printers and Faxes .
  2. Right-click the appropriate product, and then click Properties .
  3. Click Print Test Page . The self-test page prints.

I understand that your HP G55 prints the same page again and again. * Restart Spooler: To resolve the issue, restart the spooler by following these steps: 1. Click Start, and then Control Panel. a. For Category View: 1. Click Performance and Maintenance. 2. Click Administrative tools. 3. Double-click Services. b. For Classic view: 1. Double-click Administrative Tools. 2. Double-click Services. 2. Locate print spooler on the list, right-click and choose Restart. A progress message will appear and the spooler should be clear. You should now be able to print or remove the printer driver as required.

There is no drivers downloadable for Vista for G55. Drivers are included in Vista standard installation.
If you have installed XP drivers by mistake, do a system restore to a date before installing drivers for the first time.
Here directions to install drivers for G55 on Vista.
