Duet front load the timer keeps flashing the minutes I've tried holding for three seconds not working door is not locked, I can also change wash options it will not start or reset
I just now had this problem and thought I 'd have to pay for a costly service visit and repair, but my husband just fixed it! yay! just hold in the "end of cycle" signal button for about 5 seconds, and voila! control locked, unlocked!
I tried the end of cycle button and it worked!!!! Thanks so much!

I unplugged it for more than 15 min, reset the ccu, pressed the end cycle and the liht went off the door will still not unlock
After slamming the door shut, pressing every button on the control panel, changing cycles and holding the reset button for 3 seconds multiple times, I called Whirlpool the next day. They told me to unplug the machine for 15 min and it would reset itself. It worked!!! Thanks to all who replied!

On the right side of the machine, it says end of cycle just press it for 3 seconds!
I had the same problem (hence why I stumbled upon this forum). Unplugging it did no good. Turned out to simply have to hold the "end of cycle" alarm button for 3+ seconds to unlock. I guess it's a "feature".

It is recommended to try putting the machine into diagnostic mode. If it won't enter
diagnostic mode, then you need to replace the main control board.
DIAGNOSTIC TEST
The washer must be empty and the control must be in the OFF
state before pressing the touch-pad sequence to start the test.
Starting the Test Mode
■ Close the door.
■ Push CONTROL/ON (if present on this model).
■ Select the DRAIN/SPIN cycle.
■ Select NO SPIN by pressing the SPIN SPEED touch-pad.
■ Push PREWASH OPTION four times within five seconds. (If
PREWASH OPTION is not present on this model, press EXTRA
RINSE four times within five seconds.) C:00 will light up on the
display.
If the Starting procedure fails, push the PAUSE/CANCEL touch-pad,
then repeat the starting procedure.
Test Program Control
In order to advance to the next step of the test procedure, push
PREWASH OPTION touch-pad two times. If PREWASH OPTION is not
present on this model, press EXTRA RINSE two times.

i have a duet whirlpool frontload washer it just stopped working but when i plug it in i hear it "cherp" it makes a noise like it has power just wont run . The door is locked and cant ever open it to get clothes out it seem like it has power just wont run and none of the lights are on

My problem is that the washer power button won't turn on, the door lock button does light up and work but other than that the machine doesn't even
make a sound. Checked the door, don't see a problem with that. At one point F1 appeared, but now nothing lights up.

The control panel is completely blank and I have clothes locked in the washer. How do I get the clothes out if there is no power in the machine? I tried unplugging it, checking the breaker, everything. I even pressed the little end cycle button for three seconds but that doesn't help there seems to be no power. How do I unlock the locked door with no power?
I have the same problem. However, when I started the cycle I had forgotten to turn the water supply on. The "time remaining" light is blinking, the motor sounds like it is running, I have tried the "end cycle" button, but nothing is happening.

Control Pannel will not respond to settings... 'control locked' light is lit as well as 'wet' light is lit. Have tried heating and drying air around drum and control pannel as well as resetting breaker. I also held the reset button for over 3 seconds as posted on the machine controls for unlocking the controls...?

My washer is locked up. Nothing will work on it. I've tried unplugging for a while and that did not work. I have checked the circuit breakers and none were blown. I need to have this fixed so I can use my washer. I did have it working for about one minute after hooking it up but the water lines were not turned on. I turned off the machine and turned on the water lines and then went back to turn it on, that is when I noticed the machine was locked up and none of the controls worked. It will not do anthing.
I loaded the washer and noticed control lock inidcator light was on. Pressing 'control on' and 'cancel' button together will activate washer control panel on, no further functioning afterward.
I had the same problem; "control locked" light was on and it wouldn't start washing. I did what someone else suggested (holding the "end cycle" button for about three seconds and it's working now.

Just spent 1/2 hour looking for the answer to the problem online (after unplugging, etc) - & thanks to you all, I got it fixed! Â Went to press the end of cycle button, and noticed that underneath the button is written "hold for 3 seconds to lock/unlock control". Â My teenage son is laughing his head off :)
