My electric frigidaire oven overheats and shows F1, it won't stop, and I can't even turn it off unless I switch off the electricity. How can I solve this problem?

You have disabled the oven feature if you did adjust the door lock assembly. Interesting that the F1 stopped. notsure why myself.\ Usually the F1 feature does not go away unless you replace the electronic/control board. I wonder what would happen if you set the door lock assembly to where it was before?

Frigidaire oven fault code F1 means the electronic clock control is bad and should be replaced. That is the electronic control board that shows your clock display and is also called clock or eoc, depending on your model.
